This standard is a revision of QB/T 1858-1993 Perfume and florida water, with the following main contents modified:
——The name of the standard is changed to "Perfume and cologne", and a separate standard is prepared for "florida water" in the original standard;
——The index “density” is changed to “relative density”;
——The reference of GB 5296.3 Instruction for use of consumer products - General labelling for cosmetics is added;
——The permissible deviation of net content is implemented according to Measures for the metrological supervision and administration of quantitatively packed commodities (Decree [1995] No.43 of China State Bureau of Technical Supervision).

This standard replaces the perfume part in professional standard QB/T 1858-1993 Perfume and florida water issued by the former Ministry of Light Industry from the implementation date hereof.
Perfume and cologne
1 Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of perfume and cologne.
This standard is applicable to perfume and cologne for hygienic makeup purposes.

3 Requirements
3.1 Sensory, physical & chemical and hygienic indexes shall meet those specified in Table 1. The raw materials used shall meet the requirements of WEIFAJIANFA [2002] No.229.

4 Test methods
4.1 Hygienic indexes
Inspect according to the method specified in WEIFAJIANFA [2002] No.229.
4.2 Sensory indexes
4.2.1 Color and luster
Take specimen using a 25mL colorimetric tube and visually observe it at room temperature under non-direct sunlight.
4.2.2 Fragrance
First, put the same amount of specimens and the specified specimens (according to the enterprise internal control regulations) in vessel of the same specification respectively, use 0.5cm~1.0cm wide and 10cm~15cm long absorbent paper as the fragrance evaluation paper, dip two pieces of paper into the same amount of specimens and the specified specimens by about 1cm~2cm (the depth shall be close) respectively, and identify the fragrance by smell.
