GB 2763-2021 National Food Safety Standard-Maximum Residue Limits for Pesticides in Food English
National food safety standard -
Maximum residue limits for pesticides in food
1 Scope
This document specifies 10092 maximum residue limits of 564 pesticides such as 2,4-DB in food.
This document is applicable to foods related to limits.
Food categories and measurement parts (see Annex A) are used to define the application scope of pesticide maximum residue limits, which are only applicable to this document. Unless otherwise specified, where the maximum residue limit of a certain pesticide is applied to a certain food category, it is applicable to all types of foods within such category.
The List of pesticides exempted from setting maximum residue limit criteria in food (see Annex B) is used to define the scope where maximum residue limit of pesticides in food are not required.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
residue definition
any specific substances, including pesticide derivatives considered to have toxicological significance, such as pesticide transformation, metabolites, reaction products and impurities, appearing in food, agricultural products and animal feed as a result of the use of pesticides
3.2
maximum residue limit (MRL)
maximum concentration of pesticides legally allowed within or on the surface of food or agricultural products, expressed in milligrams of pesticide residues per kilogram of food or agricultural products (mg/kg)
3.3
extraneous maximum residue limit (EMRL)
residue limit of persistent pesticides which, although having been banned, still exist in the environment for a long term and form residues in food again, which is developed to control the pollution of these pesticide residues to food and expressed in milligrams per kilogram of pesticide residues in food or agricultural products (mg/kg)
3.4
acceptable daily intake (ADI)
estimated daily intake of a substance by humans within lifetime, of which the amount detected will not hazard the health, which is expressed as intake per kilogram body weight (mg/kg bw)
