- The requirement "this standard is not applicable to garments for infants and young children of or under 36 months of age" was added (see Chapter 1);
- The requirements of product sizing systems were modified (see Chapter 3 of this standard, Chapter 3 of 2009 edition);
- The requirements of "dry net content" in fiber content were deleted (see 4.3.1 and 5.1.2.1 of this standard, 4.3.1 and 5.4.1 of 2009 edition);
- The indicator of dimensional stability to washing in longitudinal direction was modified, and the dimensional stability to washing in both longitudinal and horizontal directions was integrally assessed (see 4.3.1 of this standard, 4.3.1 of 2009 edition);
- The strength indicator, light fastness indicator, indicator of color fastness to light-perspiration, indicator of colour fastness to wet rubbing, colour fastness of printing (pyrography) to rubbing, and pilling indicator were adjusted (see 4.3.1 of this standard, 4.3.1 of 2009 edition);
- The examination items of appearance quality after washing were added (see 4.3.1 and 5.1.2.8);
- The contents of surface defect grading requirements were modified (see 4.4.1 of this standard, 4.4.2.1 of 2009 edition);
- The contents of sewing requirements were modified (see 4.4.4 of this standard, 4.4.6 of 2009 edition);
- The requirements of test method for dimensional stability to washing were added (see 5.1.2.6).
This standard was proposed by China National Textile and Apparel Council.
This standard is under the jurisdiction of Technical Subcommittee on Knitwear of the National Technical Committee on Textiles of Standardization Administration of China (SAC/TC 209/SC 6).

3 Product Sizing Systems
The sizing systems of knitted T-shirts shall be in accordance with the requirements of FZ/T 70014 or GB/T 1335.
4 Requirements
4.1 Requirement contents
The requirements include inherent quality and appearance quality, in which the inherent quality includes such indicators as fiber content, formaldehyde content, pH value, odor, decomposable carcinogenic aromatic amine dyes, dimensional stability to washing, distortion rate after washing, bursting strength, pilling, color fastness to light-perspiration/light/washing with soap/water/perspiration/rubbing, colour fastness of printing (pyrography) to washing with soap/rubbing, splicing and cross dyeing degree, and appearance quality after washing. While the appearance quality includes such indicators as surface defect, specification and size deviation, size difference in symmetrical positions and sewing requirements.
4.2 Grading requirements
4.2.1 Knitted T-shirts are classified into high-grade products, first-grade products and qualified products.
4.2.2 As for the quality grading of knitted T-shirts, the inherent quality is graded by batch, while the appearance quality is graded by piece, and the knitted T-shirts shall be graded as the lowest grade between them.
4.2.3 For all of the inherent quality indicators, the lowest test result shall be the quality criterion for this batch of products.
4.2.4 Where appearance quality problems of different grades are found on the same product, the product shall be graded as the lowest quality grade. For one product, only two limit surface defects of the same grade are allowed; otherwise, it shall be reduced by one grade.
4.3 Inherent quality requirements
4.3.1 See Table 1 for the inherent quality requirements.
