This document is developed in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2020 Directives for standardization—Part 1: Rules for the structure and drafting of standardizing documents.
This document replaces GB/T 1002-2008 Single phase plugs and socket-outlets for household and similar purposes—Types, basic parameters and dimensions. In addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the following main technical changes have been made with respect to GB/T 1002-2008:
——The Single phase dipolar double-duty socket-outlets and their corresponding gauges have been deleted (see Figure 5, Figure 17, Figure 18 in the 2008 edition);
——The description that the live pin of the plug may be provided with an insulating sheath has been added (see 4.2.2) ;
——The relevant subclause has been modified, specifying Class II device may be equipped with a non-earthing plug of the same type, parameters and dimensions as the single phase dipolar plug with earthing contact shown in Figure 3 (see 4.2.3 herein, and 5.6 in the 2008 edition);
——The requirement has been added that distance between the live-pole plug bush of the socket-outlets and the insertion surface shall not be less than the value specified in Table 1 (see 4.3.1);
——The requirement has been added that distance between the earthing plug bush of the socket-outlets and the insertion surface shall not be greater than the distance between the live-pole plug bush of the same socket-outlets (see Figure 4) and the insertion surface (see 4.3.2);
——Instructions have been added on how to use gauges for socket-outlets (see 5.1.3);
——The schematic diagram of the edge of the plug in Figure 5, the schematic diagram of the height of the insulating sheath of the plug pin in Figure 6, and the schematic diagram of the distance between the live-pole plug bush of the socket-outlets and the insertion surface in Figure 7 have been added (see Figure 5, Figure 6 and Figure 7);
——The stop gauge has been changed to single pin stop gauge (see Figure 12, Figure 11 and Figure 15 of the 2008 edition);
——The inner gauge and outer gauge of the single-phase dipolar earthing plug have been joined as a new gauge (see Figure 9, Figure 7 and Figure 8 of the 2008 edition);
——The length of the non-contact gauge has been modified (see Figure 13, Figure 14, Figure 12, Figure 16 in the 2008 edition);
——Touch gauges for the single-phase dipolar socket-outlets and the single-phase dipolar socket-outlets with earthing have been added (see Figure 15, Figure 16);
——Column 6A in Table 1 and Table 3 have been deleted (see Table 1 and Table 3 in the 2008 edition);
——The dimensional tolerance has been changed.

Single phase plugs and socket-outlets for household and similar purposes — Types, basic parameters and dimensions
1 Scope
This standard specifies the types, basic parameters and dimensions of single phase plugs and socket-outlets for household and similar purposes.
This document is applicable to single-phase plugs and socket-outlets with an AC frequency of 50 Hz, a rated voltage of 250 V, and a rated current of no more than 16 A used in households and for similar environments.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purpose of this standard, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 2900.70-2008 and GB/T 2099.1-2021 apply.
4 Technical requirements
4.1 General
4.1.1 Single phase plugs and socket-outlets for household and similar purposes are divided into two basic types—no earthing at two poles and earthing at two poles.
4.1.2 The types, basic parameters and dimensions of single-phase plugs and socket-outlets for household and similar purposes shall be in accordance with the provisions of Figure 1, Figure 2, Figure 3, and Figure 4.
4.2 Plug
4.2.1 The shape of the plug is not specified, but the distance of the live plugs and pins to the edge shall not be less than 6.5 mm.
Note: The edge of a non-level plug insertion surface is determined as follows: suppose a plane vertical to the axis of the plug pin moves 1 mm from the insertion surface towards the plug body, and the intersecting boundary line of this plan with the exterior surface of the plug body is considered the edge of the plug, as shown in value B of Figure 5.
4.2.2 The live pin of the plug may have an insulating sheath. For the plug of Figure 1, the height of the insulating sheath is (7±0.5) mm; for the plug of Figure 3, the height of the insulating sheath is (9±0.5) mm, see S in Figure 6. The outer dimension of the plug insulating sheath cannot exceed the minimum dimension of the corresponding socket, and the plug shall be able to insert into the socket-outlet smoothly.
Plugs with insulating sheaths shall also meet the requirements of 4.2.1.
Note: A plug with an insulating sheath may involve patent issues.
4.2.3 Class II device may be equipped with a non-earthing plug of the same type, parameters and dimensions as the single phase dipolar plug with earthing contact shown in Figure 3 In Figure 3, the protective door driving device is installed at the position of the earthing pin, the color of the driving device shall be black, it shall not be connected to the earthing conductor nor marked with the earthing symbols, but only taken as the driving device for opening the protective door during insertion with the socket-outlets.
4.3 Socket-outlets
4.3.1 The distance between the live-pole plug bush of the socket-outlets and the insertion surface shall not be less than the value specified in Table 1, as shown in Figure 7 as K.

4.3.2 The distance between the earthing plug bush of the socket-outlets and the insertion surface shall not be greater than the distance between the live-pole plug bush of the same socket-outlets (see Figure 4) and the insertion surface (see 4.3.2).
5 Test methods
5.1.1 To check the dimension of single-phase plugs and socket-outlets for household and similar purposes, use the special gauges specified in Figure 8 to Figure 16 and a vernier caliper with a graduation of 0.02 mm. The dimension of the rounded part of the plug pin end should be measured with an appropriate measuring tool. The surface roughness of these gauges shall uniformly be of Rockwell hardness HRC58~HRC62, the parallelism, perpendicularity and symmetry of the gauges shall be in accordance with the tolerance H level specified in GB/T 1184-1996.
5.1.2 The pin of the plug shall be able to pass the gauges shown in Figure 8 and Figure 9. If the plug pin has an insulating sheath, the insulating sheath does not need to pass the gauges shown in Figure 8 and Figure 9.
5.1.3 The socket gauges are used as follows:
——The socket go gauge shall be able to be inserted into the socket on the socket-outlet panel;
——The socket no-go gauge shall not be inserted into the socket of the socket-outlet panel;
——The socket touch gauge shall be able to touch the live-pole plug bush of the socket-outlets;
——The socket no-touch gauge shall not be able to touch the live-pole plug bush of the socket-outlets.
When using gauges, if the socket-outlet has a protective door, it shall be disabled to avoid affecting the test.
The insertion force of the gauge shall not be greater than the maximum extraction force in Table 16 of GB/T 2099.1-2021.

前 言
本文件按照GB/T 1.1—2020《标准化工作导则 第1部分:标准化文件的结构和起草规则》的规定起草。
本文件代替GB/T 1002—2008《家用和类似用途单相插头插座 型式、基本参数和尺寸》,与GB/T 1002—2008相比,除结构调整和编辑性改动外,主要技术变化如下:
——删除了单相两极双用插座及其对应的量规(见2008年版的图5、图17、图18);
——增加了插头的带电插销可带有绝缘护套的要求(见4.2.2);
——更改了Ⅱ类设备可配用与图3单相两极带接地插头型式、参数和尺寸相同的、无接地功能的插头(见4.2.3,2008年版的5.6);
——增加了插座的带电插套离插合面的距离应不小于表1规定值的要求(见4.3.1);
——增加了接地插套离插合面的距离应不大于同一个插座(见图4)的带电插套离插合面的距离(见4.3.2);
——增加了插座量规的使用方法(见5.1.3);
——增加了图5插头边缘示意图、图6插头插销绝缘护套高度示意图、图7插座的带电插套离插合面的距离示意图(见图5、图6、图7);
——更改了止规为单插销止规(见图12,2008年版的图11、图15);

1 范围
本文件规定了家用和类似用途单相插头插座的型式、基本参数和尺寸,以及试验方法。
本文件适用于家庭和类似家庭环境场合使用的、交流频率为50Hz、额定电压为250V、额定电流不超过16A 的单相插头和插座。

3 术语和定义
GB/T 2900.70—2008和GB/T 2099.1—2021界定的术语和定义适用于本文件。
4 技术要求
4.1 总则
4.1.1 家用和类似用途单相插头插座分为两极无接地和两极带接地两种基本型式。
4.1.2 家用和类似用途单相插头插座的型式、基本参数和尺寸按图1、图2、图3、图4的规定。
4.2 插头
4.2.1 插头的外形不予规定,但插头带电插销离边缘的距离应不小于6.5mm。
注:若插头插合面不是一个平面,则从通过插合面最高点与插销轴线垂直的一个平面向插头本体方向偏移1mm与本体外表的相贯线,视为插头边缘,示例如图5中的B 值。
4.2.2 插头的带电插销可带有绝缘护套。对图1插头,其绝缘护套的高度为(7±0.5)mm;对图3插头,其绝缘护套的高度为(9±0.5)mm,参见图6中示意S。插头绝缘护套的外形尺寸不能超过对应插座插孔的最小尺寸,插头能顺利插入插座。
带有绝缘护套的插头也应符合4.2.1的要求。
注:带有绝缘护套的插头,可能会涉及专利问题。
4.2.3 Ⅱ类设备可配用与图3单相两极带接地插头型式、参数和尺寸相同的、无接地功能的插头,并应制成不可拆线形式。图3的接地插销位置用来安装保护门驱动片,该驱动片的颜色为黑色,并不接接地导线,不标注接地符号,仅作为与插座插合时打开保护门的驱动装置。
4.3 插座
4.3.1 插座的带电插套离插合面的距离应不小于表1规定值,见图7中示意K。

4.3.2 接地插套离插合面的距离应不大于同一个插座(图4)的带电插套离插合面的距离。
5 试验方法
5.1.1 检验家用和类似用途单相插头插座尺寸,应用图8~图16规定的专用量规、分度值为0.02mm的游标卡尺来检查,插头插销端部倒圆部分尺寸用适当量具测量。这些量规的表面粗糙度全部为,硬度为洛氏硬度HRC58~HRC62,量规的平行度、垂直度和对称度等形位公差按GB/T 1184—1996中规定公差H级。
5.1.2 插头的插销应能通过图8、图9量规。若插头插销带有绝缘护套,则绝缘护套部分不需要通过图8、图9量规。
5.1.3 插座量规的使用方法如下:
——插座通规应能插入插座面板的插孔;
——插座止规应不能插入插座面板的插孔;
——插座接触规应能接触到插座的带电插套;
——插座不接触规应不能接触到插座的带电插套。
当使用量规时,插座如果有保护门,应使之不起作用,以免影响试验。
量规的插入力应不大于GB/T 2099.1—2021表16的最大拔出力。
