GB/T 43332-2023 Safety requirements of conductive charging and discharging for electric vehicles
1 Scope
This document specifies the safety requirements for conductive connection of electric vehicles (hereinafter referred to as "vehicles") to external electric power supplies or external electric loads for conductive charging and discharging.
This document is applicable to vehicles with vehicle inlets (case B and case C connections) conforming to the requirements of GB/T 20234.2 and/or GB/T 20234.3 and those with plugs (case A connection) conforming to the requirements of GB/T 1002 and/or GB/T 20234.2.
This document is applicable to vehicles with voltage class B power supply circuit which can be charged and discharged externally. For vehicles with voltage class A power supply circuit, this document may be taken as a reference.
This document is applicable to charging modes 2, 3, and 4 as defined in GB/T 18487.1-2023. For charging mode 4, this document is applicable to conductive charging with isolated off-board chargers.
Note 1: This document does not provide requirements for charging mode 1.
Note 2: External electric power supplies are not part of the vehicle.
This document is applicable to the on-board sections of vehicle power supply circuits. It is also applicable to charging and discharging control functions used for the conductive connection of the vehicle to an external electric power supply or external electric load.
This document is not applicable to comprehensive safety precautions for manufacturing, maintenance and repair personnel.

ratio of the active power to the apparent power under cyclic conditions

cut-off current
let through current
maximum instantaneous value of current attained during the breaking operation of a switching device or a fuse
Note: This concept is of particular importance when the switching device or the fuse operates in such a manner that the prospective peak current of the circuit is not reached.

vehicle power supply circuit
voltage class B electric circuit which includes all parts that are conductively connected to the plug [case A connection] or the vehicle inlet [case B and case C connections] or the plug (case A connection) or the vehicle inlet (case B and case C connections) for connection to external electric power supplies or external electric loads
Note: The vehicle power supply circuit includes the on-board section of the vehicle power supply circuit and the off-board section being part of the external electric power supply.

external electric power supply
electric power source that is not part of the vehicle for supplying electric energy to a vehicle using an EV energy transfer equipment

interlock function
function that prevents the power contacts of a socket-outlet/vehicle connector from becoming live before it is in proper engagement with a plug/vehicle inlet, and which either prevents the plug/vehicle connector from being withdrawn while its power contacts are live or makes the power contacts dead before separation

residual current device; RCD
mechanical switching device designed to make, carry and break currents under normal service conditions and to cause the opening of the contacts when the residual current attains a given value under specified conditions
