General requirements for installation and wiring of household and similar electrical appliances
1 Scope
This standard specifies terms and definitions, classification, installation requirements, wiring requirements and acceptance requirements for installation and wiring of household and similar electrical appliances (hereinafter referred to as "household electrical appliances").
This standard is applicable to household electrical appliances to be installed and wired.
Note: There may be additional installation and wiring requirements for household electrical appliances used in special environments.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purpose of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
installation
activities of fixing the household electrical appliances in place and assembling, connecting and debugging them properly according to the specific environmental conditions of such household electrical appliances and users so that they can meet relevant safety requirements and realize intended use functions
3.2
wiring
design and setting of external circuits and various pipelines of household electrical appliances so that they can be used properly
Note: It also includes the wiring of non-power lines, such as network cables and signal lines.
4 Classification
——Indoor type: household electrical appliances installed and wired indoors only;
——Indoor and outdoor type: household electrical appliances that need to be installed and wired indoors and outdoors
