Sanitary ware - Flexible hose
1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and code, materials, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, identification, packaging, transportation and storage of flexible hose for sanitary tapware.
This standard is applicable to flexible hose for sanitary tapware with working pressure not more than 1.0MPa and water supply temperature not more than 90℃.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 16662 and the following apply.

flexible pipe used for interconnection between cold and hot water supply pipelines and water sanitary ware or between sanitary ware and sanitary ware

5 Materials
5.1 All the materials of the products in contact with drinking water directly shall not change the water quality, appearance, taste and smell, etc. of drinking water under the specified use conditions hereof.
5.2 The material of rubber sealing ring shall be tested for 24h at (-10±1)℃ and (70±1)℃ respectively according to the methods specified in GB/T 7759.1 and GB/T 7759.2, and the compression set shall not exceed 20%.
5.3 Weaving wires, joints and sleeves for flexible hose shall be made of corrosion resistant materials.
6 Technical requirements
6.1 Appearance
6.1.1 The surface of the metallic outer pipe shall be free from defects such as peeling, bubbles, scale, rust, cracks, oil stains, obvious scratches, indentations, exploding wire, broken wire and sharp folds; the surface of the non-metallic outer pipe shall be free from obvious corrugations, weld marks, scratches and scraps and damages.
6.1.2 The inner and outer surfaces of the flexible hose joint shall be free from obvious defects such as cracks and unevenness; the surface of the thread shall be free from defects such as broken thread and dents.
6.2 Dimensions
The nominal dimension of the product shall be determined by the manufacturer and the permissible length deviation shall meet those specified in Table 2.

6.3 Threaded connection
6.3.1 The thread precision of flexible hose joint shall conform to the requirements of GB/T 7307, and the precision grade of external thread shall not be lower than Grade B. The minimum length of the effective connecting thread of the flexible hose shall reach the provisions specified in Figure 1 and Table 3. For special products, the specifications stipulated in the contract are allowed.
