This standard specifies test method for skewness and bow in woven and knitted fabrics.

3 Terms and Definitions
For the purposes of this standard, the following terms and definitions apply.

Skewness
A kind of skew state which weft or knitting row deviate from warp perpendicular to the fabric or vertical straight.
3.2
Bow
Weft or knitting row deviate from warp perpendicular to the fabric or vertical straight, and form one or more arched and skew state in the width direction of fabric.
