3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
fluorescence color
the color showing fluorescence after exposure to UV light
3.2
children garment
garment for children over 3 through 14 years old
4 Product size designation
It shall be in accordance with those specified in GB/T 1335 or GB/T 6411.
5 Requirements
5.1 Specific requirements
The requirements involve inherent quality and appearance quality. Inherent quality includes fiber content, formaldehyde content, pH value, peculiar smell, decomposable carcinogenic aromatic amine dyes, color fastness (color fastness to soaping, color fastness to rubbing, color fastness to perspiration, color fastness to water, color fastness to light, color fastness to light of textiles wetted with artificial perspiration, and color fastness to transfer in joints), back crotch seam strength, bursting strength, pilling, dimensional stability to washing, distortion rate after water washing, absorption and quick-drying performance, and appearance after washing. Appearance quality includes such indexes as surface defect, specification and dimension deviation, dimensional difference in symmetric parts and sewing requirements.
5.2 Grading requirements
5.2.1 The products are classified into superior products, first-grade products and acceptable products in terms of the quality grade.
5.2.2 The products are graded by batches in terms of inherent quality and by pieces in terms of appearance quality, and shall take the lowest grade in case of a combination of both.
5.2.3 For all inherent quality indexes, the worst inspection result is regarded as the grading basis for this batch of products.
5.2.4 Where appearance quality problems of different product grades are found on the same product, the product shall be graded according to the lowest quality grade. For one product, no more than two limit surface defects of the same grade are allowed to exist; otherwise, this product shall be degraded by one grade.
5.3 Inherent quality requirements
5.3.1 See Table 1 for the inherent quality requirements.
