This standard is developed in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces GB/T 2660-2008 Shirts and Blouses, and the following technical changes have been made with respect to GB/T 2660-2008 (the previous edition):
——The scope of this standard is modified and it has been made clear that this standard is not applicable to products for infants and young children aged from 0 to 36 months as well as quilted shirts and blouses (see Chapter 1;Chapter 1 in Edition 2008);

Shirts and Blouses
1 Scope
This standard specifies requirements, inspection method, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transport and storage of shirts and blouses.
This standard is applicable to shirts and blouses with woven fabric as main material, excluding quilted shirts and blouses.
This standard is not applicable to products for infants and young children aged 0~36 months.

3 Requirements
3.1 Instruction
The instruction of finished products shall comply with those specified in GB 5296.4 and GB 31701.
3.2 Standard sizing systems and specifications
3.2.1 Standard sizing systems shall meet the requirements of GB/T 1335 (all parts).
3.2.2 The specification of main parts shall be designed voluntarily according to the requirements of GB/T 2667 or the relevant requirements of GB/T 1335 (all parts).
3.3 Raw materials
3.3.1 Shell fabric
Shell fabric complying with the quality requirements of this standard shall be selected according to relevant standards for textile fabric.
3.3.2 Lining
Lining suitable for the applied shell fabric and complying with the quality requirements of this standard shall be adopted.
3.3.3 Auxiliary material
3.3.3.1 Interlining, shoulder pad, border lace and bagging
The interlining, shoulder pad, border lace and pocket bag suitable to the performance of the applied shell fabric and lining shall be adopted, and their quality shall comply with those specified in this standard.
3.3.3.2 Suture, rope belt and elastic ribbon
Suture, rope belt and elastic ribbon (expect ornamental thread and fashion tape) suitable to the performance of applied shell fabric, lining fabric and auxiliary materials shall be adopted.
3.3.3.3 Buttons and other accessories
Buttons (excluding decorative button) and other accessories suitable to all the applied fabric shall be adopted. The surfaces of buttons, decorative buttons and other accessories shall be smooth and free of burr, damage, defect and accessible sharp tip or edge.
Note: accessible sharp tip or edge refers to any sharp edge or tip on finished products that may cause harm to human skin under normal wearing.
3.4 Wrap and weft yarn direction
The front hem shall not upwarp; the yarn skewness degree of the back and the sleeves shall comply with those specified in Table 1.

3.5 Strip matching and plaid matching
3.5.1 Shell fabric with visible strips and plaids of 1.0cm or above shall be in accordance with those specified in Table 2.

Long sleeve Strip and plaid shall be straight; taking sleeve top as reference, the two sleeves shall be symmetrical, with the mutual deviation not greater than 1.0 Plaids less than 3.0 and strips less than 1.5 will not be matched
Short sleeve Strips shall be smooth and straight; taking cuffs as the reference, the two sleeves shall be symmetrical, with the mutual deviation no greater than 0.5 Plaids less than 2.0 and strips less than 1.5 will not be matched
3.5.2 As for pressedpile and drawn pile raw material, the grain direction of the entire fabric shall be the same.
3.5.3 Fabrics with special pattern shall be subjected to the main pattern and pattern or grain direction the whole body shall be the same.
3.6 Color difference
The color difference of top collar, yoke, pocket, placket front, sleeve cap surface and the bodice shall be higher than Grade 4. The color difference of other parts shall not be lower than Grade 4.
3.7 Appearance defect
The appearance defects of each part shall comply with Table 3. See Figure 1 for the division of each part of finished products. As for each part, only one defect within permissibility is allowable. The defects not covered in this standard shall be in accordance with the similar ones in Table 3 according to their shapes.

3.8 Sewing
3.8.1 Stitch length density shall be in accordance with those specified in Table 4, except in special design.

3.8.2 The sewing of all parts shall be flat, smooth, straight, regular and firm, with uniform stitches.
3.8.3 The upper and lower thread are suitable in elasticity and free from skipped or broken stitches. Back stitching shall be provided at the place with starting and ending stitches.
3.8.4 No skipped stitch is allowed on the collar; ,each part shall be free from any continuous skipping stitches or more than one individual skipping stitches within 30cm; chain stitch shall be free from any skipping stitch.
3.8.5 Collar shall be flat and smooth; the top, lining and support of collar shall possess suitable elasticity; the collar point shall not upturn.
3.8.6 The set in sleeve shall be even and smooth; the easing shall be uniform and basically consistent for front and back of the sleeves.
3.8.7 The stitched part at the sleeve cap, pocket and garment piece shall be uniform, flat and smooth, without skewing.
3.8.8 The trademark and permanent label shall be upright, flat and smooth.
3.8.9 The buttonhole shall be exactly positioned with suitable size; two ends shall be sealed-off, and it shall be runproof at the position where the buttonhole is gashed.
3.8.10 The sewing button shall match with the buttonhole and sewed neatly and firmly. The height of the shank shall be suitable, the thread knot shall not be exposed and the button sewing thread shall be nonravel.
3.8.11 The snap buttons (press snap button) shall be firm with suitable elasticity.
3.8.12 There shall be no metal needle or metal sharps in the finished products.
