This standard replaces GB/T 15102-2006
Surface decorated wood-based panels with paper impregnated thermosetting resins.
The following main changes have been made with respect to GB/T 15102-2006 (the previous edition):
——The name of the standard is changed from “Surface decorated wood-based panels with paper impregnated thermosetting resins” to “Surface decorated fiberboard and particleboard with paper impregnated thermosetting resins”;
——The relevant physical and chemical properties of surface decorated wood-based panels are modified according to the existing substrate standards so as to be consistent with the substrate indexes;
——The formaldehyde emission limit complies with those specified in GB 18580;
——The requirements for dimensional stability and warpage are deleted;
——The requirements for bulge and flatness as well as the indexes of elastic modulus and density deviation are added;
——The requirements for thickness swelling rate of water absorption are subdivided based on the panel thickness;
——Direct reference is made to the relevant test methods in GB/T 17657-2013 Test methods of evaluating the properties of wood-based panels and surface decorated wood-based panels. Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent rights. The issuing body of this document shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
This Standard was proposed by State Forestry Adi ministration, P.R. China.
