This document replaces GB/T 13403-2008 Gaskets for large-diameter steel pipe flanges. In addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the following main technical changes have been made with respect to GB/T 13403-2008:
a) The grooved metal gaskets with covering layers and related requirements are added (see Clause 1, Clause 4, 5.1.4, 5.2.4, Clause 6 and Clause 7 hereof);
b) The description of the dimension selection and type selection of gasket with "locating ring" is added (see Tables 1 and 2 hereof);
c) The dimensions of non-metallic flat gaskets and reinforced flexible graphite gaskets for Class 75 of B series flange are added (see Table 4 and Table 12 hereof);
d) The dimensions of non-metallic flat gaskets, composite wave-serrated metal gaskets and reinforced flexible graphite gaskets are modified (see Tables 3-8, 11-12 hereof; Tables 3-10 of Edition 2008);
e) The dimension limit deviation of gaskets is modified (see Tables 13-15, Table 17 hereof; Tables 11-14 of Edition 2008);
f) The dimension limit deviation requirements for non-metallic flat gaskets of rubber sheets are added (see Table 14 hereof);
g) The requirements for transportation and storage of product are added (see 8.2.3).
