3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
wood-plastic composite flooring
flooring made, via forming, from a proportional mixture of processing units made from wood fiber materials (such as wood, bamboo, and crop straw) and thermoplastics
Note: Generally, the content of wood fiber in the wood-plastic composite flooring (non-foam type substrate) is not less than 50%, while that in the wood-plastic composite flooring (foam type substrate) is not less than 20%.
3.2
wood-plastic composite flooring without coating
wood-plastic composite flooring whose surface is not coated with other materials
3.3
wood-plastic composite flooring with coating
wood-plastic composite flooring whose surface is coated with different materials
3.4
color unmatching
defect that the color of a certain pattern is different from that of the given standard sample
3.5
bulge
abnormal bulge on the product surface induced by solid
3.6
blisters
abnormal bulge on the product surface induced by gas
3.7
trace grain
surface mark caused by defects in the forming process
3.8
sander-polishing
mode of processing where the surface of the wood-plastic composite flooring is sanded or roughened along the length direction
3.9
embossing
procedure to press decorative patterns, such as wood grain, on the surface of wood-plastic composite flooring for decoration and slip resistance
