This standard is developed in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009 Directives for standardization - Part 1: Structure and drafting of standards.
This standard replaces QC/T 788-2007 Performance requirements and bench test methods of automobile pedal device. The following main technical changes have been made with respect to QC/T 788-2007:
——accelerator pedal device is canceled in the applicable scope of this standard (see Clause 1; Clause 1 of Edition 2007);
——schematic diagram for longitudinal displacement is modified (see Figure 1; Figure 1 of Edition 2007);
——schematic diagram for lateral displacement is modified (see Figure 2; Figure 1 of Edition 2007);
——schematic diagram for stiffness deformation is added (see Figure 3);
——vibration durability is added (see 4.6 and 6.5.3);
——pre-action requirements for the samples before test are added (see 5.2.1);
——description of test environmental temperature range is added (see 5.2.2);
——description of test sample quantity is modified (see 5.3; 5.3 of Edition 2007);
——schematic diagram for longitudinal displacement test is added and the test conditions for longitudinal displacement are modified (see Figure 4 and 6.1.1.3; 4.2.1 and 5.2.1.1 of Edition 2007);
——schematic diagram for lateral displacement test is added and the test conditions for lateral displacement are modified (see Figure 5 and 6.1.2.2; 4.2.2 and 5.2.1.2 of Edition 2007);
——"high-temperature workability” is modified to "high-temperature adaptability” and environmental temperature of the test is modified, and retest of performance after the test is added (see 6.2.1; 5.2.2.1 of Edition 2007);
——"low-temperature workability" is modified to "low-temperature adaptability" and retest of performance after test is added (see 6.2.2; 5.2.2.2 of Edition 2007);
——test conditions for strength are modified (see 6.4; 5.2.4 of Edition 2007);
——test time of corrosion resistance is modified (see 6.6; 5.2.6 of Edition 2007);
This standard was proposed by and is under the jurisdiction of National Technical Committee of Auto Standardization (SAC/TC 114).
The previous edition of this standard is as follows:
——QC/T 788-2007.
Performance requirements and bench test methods of motor vehicle pedal device
1 Scope
1.1 This standard specifies the terms and definitions, performance requirements, test-related requirements and test methods of brake pedals and clutch pedals for motor vehicles.
1.2 This standard is applicable to mechanical articulated metal brake pedals and clutch pedals for motor vehicles; it also serves as a reference for other types of pedal devices.
