This standard is developed in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009 Directives for standardization - Part 1: Structure and drafting of standards.
This standard replaces QC/T 564-2008 Performance requirements and bench test methods for passenger car brake and has the following main technical differences from QC/T 564-2008:
——the definitions of “average braking torque” and “average braking pressure” are modified (see 3.3 and 3.6; 3.3 and 3.6 of Edition 2008);
——the terms “invariable input mode” and “invariable output mode” as well as their definitions are added (see 3.13 and 3.14);
——the evaluation indexes, i.e. reference speed and stability for speed for evaluation of braking torque in efficiency test are modified (see 4.1.1, 4.1.3 and 4.1.8; 4.1.1, 4.1.2 and 4.1.5 of Edition 2008);
——efficiency test at normal temperature is added (see 4.1.2, 4.1.7, 7.1.4 and 7.1.13);
——one-way pipeline failure test is added (see 4.1.4 and 7.1.7);
——thermal efficiency test after fade test is added (see 4.1.5c) and 7.1.9.3);
——quantitative evaluation methods and indexes for braking drag after fade recover test are added (see 4.1.5 d) and 7.1.9.6.1);
——the braking efficiency test after abrasion test is added (see 4.2.2 and 7.2.5);
——the calculation method of rotational inertia for one-way pipeline failure test is added (see 6.3.2);
——the initial braking temperature for abrasion test is modified (see 7.2.4, 7.2.3 of Edition 2008).
This standard was proposed by and is under the jurisdiction of National Technical Committee of Auto Standardization (SAC/TC 114).
The previous editions of this standard are as follows:
——JB 3980-85 and JB 4200-86;
——QC/T 564-1999 and QC/T 582-1999;
——QC/T 564-2008.
