3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
green-design
behavior of considering the impacts of raw material selection, production, sales, use, recycling, handling and other links on resources and environment in the product design and development stage based on the concept of the whole life cycle, in order to minimize resource consumption, minimize or eliminate raw materials containing harmful substances as much as possible, and reduce the generation and emission of pollutants, thus realizing environmental protection
3.2
green-design product
product that meets the green-design conception and assessment requirements
3.3
life cycle
a series of stages in the product system that are connected in sequence from acquiring raw materials from the natural world or from natural resources to the final disposal
