Recovery of traction battery used in electric vehicle - Management specification - Part 2: Take-back service network
1 Scope
This document specifies the construction, operation, safety, environmental protection and emergency requirements for take-back service network of traction battery used in electric vehicle.
This document is applicable to the construction, management and operation of take-back service network for recovering waste and used traction battery packs, modules and cells. For take-back service network of other types of lithium-ion batteries, such as consumption and energy storage, this standard can be used as an reference.
This document is not applicable to places for storing lead-acid batteries used in electric vehicles.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T19596 and GB/T26989 and the following apply.

traction battery cells, modules and battery packs scrapped in the process of research and development, production, testing, storage, transportation, use, maintenance, vehicle scrapping and cascade utilization, etc., which have lost their original use value

centralized take back service network
take-back service network that has a large special storage site and relatively perfect facilities and equipment, and can store waste and used traction battery for a long time
4 Construction requirements
4.1 Site selection requirements
4.1.1 Collection take-back service network (hereinafter referred to as "collection network") should be located in maintenance service network, power stations, scrapped motor vehicle recovery and dismantling enterprises, etc.
4.1.2 The centralized take back service network (hereinafter referred to as "centralized network") shall be located in accordance with the relevant requirements of GB 18599 and GB 50016, and keep a fire prevention distance of at least 20 m from civil buildings.
