NB/T 47065-2018 consists of the following five parts under the general title Vessel support:
——Part 1: Saddle support (NB/T 47065.1-2018);
——Part 2: Leg support (NB/T 47065.2-2018);
——Part 3: Lug support (NB/T 47065.3-2018);
——Part 4: Bracket support (NB/T 47065.4-2018);
——Part 5: Support lugs with rigid rings (NB/T 47065.5-2018).
This is Part 4 of NB/T 47065-2018: Bracket support.
This part is developed in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009 Directives for standardization - Part 1: Structure and drafting of standards.
This part replaces JB/T 4712.4-2007 Vessel support - Part 4: Bracket support. The following main technical changes have been made with respect to JB/T 4712.4-2007:
——Main material of bracket support: Q235B plate and 10# steel pipe; the allowable material stress of the bracket support body is [σ]=200MPa and 180MPa respectively;
——The allowable load [F] of Type B support limited by the head is given when the allowable stress [σ] of equipment head material of Type B support is 120MPa, 140MPa, 167MPa or 185MPa;
——The load superposition requirements for pipeline thrust and vertical seismic force are added;
——The applicable thickness range of the head is 6mm~24mm.

Vessel supports - Part 4: Bracket support
1 Scope
1.1 This part specifies the type characteristics, series parameters and dimensions, materials, marking, manufacturing technical requirements and selection instructions of bracket support.
1.2 It is applicable to steel vertical cylindrical vessels under the following conditions:
a) nominal diameter: DN800mm ~ DN4 000mm;
b) the ratio (L/DN) of cylinder length L to nominal diameter DN is not greater than 5;
c) the total height H0 of the vessel is not greater than 10m;
d) the allowable service temperature is -20℃~200℃.

4 Series parameters and dimensions
4.1 The structure and dimension of Type A support shall be as specified in Figure 1, Figure 2 and Table 2, and those of Type B support shall be as specified in Figure 3 and Table 3.
4.2 The thickness of the support backing plate may be adjusted according to actual needs. The height of Type B support may be changed, but it shall not be greater than the upper limit of support height.
