This standard (HG 20592~20635-97) is formulated by revising the primary standard HGJ 44~76-91 as well as HG 20527-92 and HG 20529-92 by reference to ISO 7005-1 (1992), ANSI B16.5 and DIN standards. The new standard after revision includes the international current European and American systems and forms a set of standard in allusion to pipe flange, gasket and bolting which has intact contents and clear system and is suited for Chinese conditions and gears to the international conventions. The new standard will improve the current situations of standards in this field such as disordered system, poor matchability and obsolete contents.
Thereinto, HG 20592~20614-97 belongs to European system and is formulated by revising and combining HGJ 44~76-91, HG 20527-92, HG 20529-92 and HG 5001~5028-58. Compared with the former standard, the newly revised standard has the following changes:
1. Applicable to outside diameter of steel tube, extending to international current series (A) and domestic following series (B) from domestic following series;
2. Supplemented threaded flange and integral flange and cancelled flanging ring loose flange;
3. Adjusted the pressure class range of slip-on hubbed flange and slip-on-welding flange
Slip-on hubbed flange PN0.6~4.0MPa DN≤600mm
Slip-on-welding flange PN0.25~0.6MPa DN≤2000mm
PN1.0~2.5MPa DN≤600mm
4. Revised sealing face dimensions and flange technical conditions;
5. Increased material varieties such as cast steel material and low temperature steel forging;
6. The pressure-temperature table of stainless steel was revised on the basis of 1% yield strength;
7. Adapting to two sets of steel tube outside diameter series, and adjusted and supplemented the gasket dimension;
8. Supplemented rubber, synthetic rubber and non-asbestos rubber pressboards as well as modified (filled) polytetrafluoroethylene flat washer material; revised the asbestos rubber gasket standard as standard for flat washer made of various nonmetallic materials;
9. Increased bolting length matching for various flange joints;
10. Marked the pipe flanges with the standard No. in HG 20592.
HG 20615~20635-97 belongs to American system and its compilation principles are as follows:
1. Took ANSI B16.5 and B16.47 as reference standard for the part of pipe flange; the SI system of parameters and dimensions is based on ISO 7005-1 (1992) and ISO 7483 (1991);
2. Adopted the marking pressure class of ISO 7005-1 (1992) (cancelling Class 75 and Class 400) so that the pressure classes of pipe flanges in European system and American system will not be mixed up.

3. Restricted the applicable PN-DN range of threaded flange and loose flange:

4. Incorporated welding neck-collar (ANSI B16.9 and MSS SP43) into loose flange standard;

6. Increased DN 550mm (PN 2.0~11.0MPa);
7. Two sealing face types, i.e., small male and female face and small tongue and groove face, were not listed;
8. Restricted the flange types applicable to ring-joint face (integral flange, welding neck flange, socket welding flange and flange cover);
9. Compiled the pressure-temperature table according to ISO 7005-1 (1992) and ANSI B16.5 (1988); the applicable pressures of 20# steel and 15CrMo were properly adjusted due to the difference of mechanical property at normal temperatures, and the corresponding material classification of 16Mn is Class 1.3;
10. Compiled gasket standard on the basis of ANSI B16.20 (1993) and B16.21 (1992);
11. Increased the table of bolting length matching various flange joints;
12. Determined standard system and standard constitution of the part of American system by reference to HG 20592~20614-97 (European system).

This standard specifies types, dimensions, technical requirements and relevant application requirements of steel pipe flange covers (European system).
This standard is applicable to steel pipe flange covers with nominal pressure PN 0.25 MPa (2.5bar) ~25.0 MPa (250bar).

3 Flange Cover Sealing Face Type or/and Application Scope
3.0.1 Flange cover has five sealing face types, i.e., raised face (RF), male and female face (MFM), tongue and groove face (TG), flat face (FF) and ring-joint face (RJ), and its dimension and selection shall be according to those specified in Chapter 6 and Chapter 8 of HG 20592.
The sealing face dimensions f1 and f2 of flange cover with raised face, male and female face as well as tongue and groove face are included in flange thickness C.
The platform height E of flange cover with ring joint face flange is not included in the flange thickness C.
3.0.2 The pressure and diameter range applicable to flange cover with various sealing face types shall be according to those specified in Table 3.0.2.

44项行业标准的通知
各省、自治区、直辖市、计划单列市化工厅(局、总公司),各有关设计单位:
由化工部化工工艺配管设计技术中心站、设备设计技术中心站共同组织制定的《钢制管法兰、垫片、紧固件》等44项标准(详见附表),经我部审查,同意批准为化工行业标准,并自1998年2月1日起实施。自本标准实施之日起,原化工行业标准《钢制管法兰类型、连接尺寸和密封面尺寸》等(HGJ 44~76—91)和化工部暂行标准《管法兰》(HG 5001~5028—58)即行废止。
以上标准由化工部设备设计技术中心站负责解释和管理,化工部工程建设标准编辑中心负责出版发行。

前 言
本标准(HG 20592~20635—97)是在原标准HGJ 44~76—91,以及HG 20527—92、HG 20529—92标准的基础上,参照ISO 7005—1(1992)标准和ANSI B16.5、DIN标准修订而成的。修订后的新标准包括国际通用的欧洲和美洲两大体系,形成了一套内容完整、体系清晰、适合国情,并与国际接轨的管法兰、垫片、紧固件标准。修订后的新标准将改变这一领域内标准体系零乱、配套性差、内容陈旧的现状。
其中HG 20592~20614—97属欧洲体系,是对HGJ 44~76—91、HG 20527—92、HG 20529—92、HG 5001~5028—58进行修订、合并而成。新修订的标准和前标准比较有如下改变:
1.适用钢管外径,由国内沿用系列扩展到国际通用系列(A)和国内沿用系列(B);
2.补充螺纹法兰和整体法兰,取消了翻边环松套法兰;
3.调整带颈平焊法兰和板式平焊法兰的压力等级范围
带颈平焊法兰PN0.6~4.0MPa DN≤600mm
板式乎焊法兰PN0.25~0.6MPa DN≤2000mm
PN1.0~2.5MPa DN≤600mm
4.修订密封面尺寸及法兰技术条件;
5.增加铸钢材料和低温钢锻件等材料品种;
6.不锈钢材料以1%屈服强度为基础修订压力—温度表;
7.适应两套钢管外径系列,对垫片尺寸进行调整、补充;
8.补充橡胶、合成橡胶、非石棉橡胶压制板、改性(填充)聚四氟乙烯等平垫片材料,将石棉橡胶板垫片标准修订为包括各种非金属材料的平垫片标准;
9.增加各种法兰接头配用的紧固件长度表;
10.管法兰统一以HG 20592标准号标志。
HG 20615~20635—97属美洲体系,其编制原则如下:
1.以ANSI B16.5、B16.47为管法兰部分参照标准。参数、尺寸的SI制以ISO 7005—1(1992)、ISO 7483(1991)为依据;
2.按ISO 7005—1(1992)标志压力等级(取消了Class 75和Class 400),使欧洲、美洲两大体系管法兰的压力等级互不混淆。

3.限制螺纹法兰和松套法兰适用PN—DN范围:

4.将对焊环(ANSI B16.9和MSS SP43)纳入松套法兰标准;
5.纳入ANSI B16.47中B系列大直径法兰(API 605),取消了A系列大直径法兰;

7.未列入小凹凸面及小榫槽面两种密封面型式;
8.限制了,环连接面适用的法兰型式(整体法兰、带颈对焊法兰、承插焊法兰、法兰盖);
9.按ISO 7005—1(1992)和ANSI B16.5(1988)编制压力—温度表。20钢、15CrMo由于常温机械性能的不同,对适用压力进行适当调整,16Mn对应1.3级材料分类;
10.以ANSI B16.20(1993)、B16.21(1992)为依据编制垫片标准;
11.增加各种法兰接头配用的紧固件长度表;
12.参照HG 20592~20614—97(欧洲体系)确定美洲体系部分的标准体系及标准组成。
本标准由化工部设备设计技术中心站和化工部化工工艺配管设计技术中心站提出并组织编制。

3 法兰盖密封面型或和适用范围
3.0.1 法兰盖的密封面型式有突面(RF)、凹凸面(MFM)、榫槽面(TG)、全平面(FF)、环连接面(RJ)五种。其尺寸及选用按HG 20592第6章、第8章的规定。
突面、凹凸面、榫槽面法兰盖的密封面尺寸f1、f2包括在法兰厚度C内。
环连接面法兰盖的突台高度E未包括在法兰厚度C内。
3.0.2各种密封面型式法兰盖适用的压力、通径范围按表3.0.2的规定。
