1 General Provisions
1.0.1 With a view to making fossil fired power plant meet safety and reliability, advanced technology, economy and suitability requirements with regards to design, this code was formulated.
1.0.2 This code is applicable to design of fossil fired power plant engineering with initial steam parameter of ultra-high voltage or above and the single unit capability of 125MW or above, for which direct firing mode and main solid fossil fuel for combustion are adopted.
1.0.3 Design of fossil fired power plant shall take technical requirements defined in long-term power purchase contract or agreement from power grid, coal quality information specified in long-term fuel supply contract or agreement as well as basic information such as hydrology, meteorology and geology relative to the engineering as its basis.
1.0.4 Original information required for design of fossil fired power plant shall be real and reliable, and shall meet corresponding design demands.
1.0.5 Resource conditions in plant shall be fully and rationally utilized for design of fossil fired power plant and overall planning shall be carried out for this engineering and long-term engineering.
1.0.6 Advanced technology, process, materials and equipment proved through operation practice or industrial test shall be applied positively for design of fossil fired power plant.
1.0.7 Design life for process system of fossil fired power plant shall be designed into 30-year.
1.0.8 Uniform identification system in the plant should be adopted for design of fossil fired power plant.
1.0.9 Design of fossil fired power plant shall meet those specified in this code and current relevant national standards.
2 Terms
2.0.1 Identification system
It refers to such kind of code system that system, equipment and components in the power plant are defined according to characteristics such as function of identified object, process and installation position.
2.0.2 Power system
It refers to such an integral that is consisted of power generation, supply (transmission, transformation and distribution) and utilization facilities as well as relay protection required for normal working of electrical facility, automatic safety device, measuring device, power communication facilities and automation facilities.
2.0.3 Black start
It refers to such a process that certain power system after shutdown due to fault, drives other units without self-starting capacity in the system to gradually recover system operation, through start-up of units with self-starting capacity in the system.
2.0.4 Plant area
It refers to such an area that is enclosed by permanent land enclosure of production, auxiliary and ancillary facilities in fossil fired power plant.
2.0.5 Main power area
It refers to such an area that is enclosed by center line of circular road for facilities such as steam turbine house, deaerator room, coal bunker bay, boiler, deduster, chimney and desulfurizer.
2.0.6 Balance of cut and fill of earthwork in plant
It refers to that influencing factors such as cut, fill, remaining excavated earth of building and structure foundation, top soil, mud or construction waste that can't be backfilled in plant and closely related to plant area as well as cut loosening coefficient make amount of cut and fill in the plant finally approach a balance.
2.0.7 Source of danger and risk
It refers to source or state that may cause harm or disease, property loss, working environment destruction or their combination.
2.0.8 Overtopping
It refers to unit discharge of wave overtopping embankment and along direction of embankment length.
2.0.9 Permissive overtopping discharge
It refers to unit discharge permissible to overtop the embankment under design conditions.
2.0.10 Drought exponent
It refers to ratio of annual evaporation capacity and annual rainfall in certain region.
2.0.11 Flue gas discharged cooling tower
It refers to cooling tower that replaces flue gas after chimney discharge and desulfurization.
2.0.12 Seawater cooling tower
It refers to wet cooling tower with cooling medium of seawater.
2.0.13 Air cooled heat exchanger
It refers to heat exchanger with cooling medium of air that makes circulating water of indirect air-cooled system cooled.
2.0.14 Air cooled condenser
It refers to equipment with cooling medium of air that makes steam discharge of steam turbine directly cool and condense into water.
2.0.15 Electrodeionization
It refers to desalination technology that ion in water is eliminated through integrated approach to electro-dialysis and ion exchange phase and by utilization of electric energy.
2.0.16 Supervisory information system for plant level (SIS)
It refers to information monitoring and management system that collects real-time production process data of control systems in fossil fired power plant and comprehensively optimizes service for real-time production process in the plant with real-time/historical database of production process in the plant as its platform.
2.0.17 Real-time system
It refers to system that is able to identify and handle with discrete events within limited time and may dynamically reflect parameter variation of production process in fossil fired power plant in real time.
2.0.18 Central control room
It refers to locations for central control on two sets of units and auxiliary system or above in fossil fired power plant.
2.0.19 Unit control room
It refers to locations for progress control on boiler, steam turbine, generator and main auxiliary system or equipment of monoblock unit.
2.0.20 High voltage switchgear
It is a general term for 35KV switchgear or above in fossil fired power plant.
2.0.21 One-and-a-half breaker configuration
It refers to double bus cabling that, for double circuits, three breakers are connected in series and bridged between two groups of buses and two circuits are respectively connected to both ends of middle breaker
2.0.22 One-and-one-third breaker configuration
It refers to double bus cabling that, for three circuits, four breakers are connected in series and bridged between two groups of buses and three circuits are respectively connected to both ends and the center of two breakers in the middle.
2.0.23 Control with strong power source
It refers to control mode with nominal control voltage of 110V or above.
2.0.24 Supporting structure of air cooled condenser
It is the generic term for supporting air cooled condenser structure consisted of column, platform (including supporting beam or truss for fan, operating repair platform or boardwalk) and wind-break wall.
2.0.25 Circular closed coal yard
It refers to indoor circular coal storage yard with major diameter consisted of coal bulkhead and semispherical space truss.
