Test methods for bare wires - Part 3: Tensile test
1 Scope
This part of GB/T 4909 specifies the test apparatuses, specimen preparation, measurement procedures, test results and evaluation of tensile test for bare wires.
This part is applicable to the measurement of tensile properties of various round, rectangular, special-shaped and stranded conductors.
The test method specified in this part is to make a certain length of specimen bear increasing tensile stress, generally until the specimen breaks, and measure its breaking force and elongation.
This part shall be used in combination with GB/T 4909.1-2009.
