GB/T 5584 consists of the following four parts under the general title Rectangular copper or aluminium and its alloy wires for electrical purposes:
——Part 1: General;
——Part 2: Rectangular copper and copper alloy wire;
——Part 3: Aluminium rectangular wire;
——Part 4: Strip copper conductor.
This part is Part 4 of GB/T 5584.
This part is developed in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces GB/T 5584.4-2009 Rectangular copper or aluminium and its alloy wires for electrical purposes–Part 4: Strip copper conductor and the following main technical changes have been made with respect to GB/T 5584.4-2009:
——The technical requirements for phosphorized copper TP1DR are added (see Clause 3 hereof);
——Vickers hardness requirements for strip copper conductor are added (see 3.6 hereof);
——The dimension range of strip copper conductor is modified (see 3.2 hereof; 5.2 of Edition 2009);
——The specification of strip copper conductor is deleted (see Clause 5 of Edition 2009).
This part was proposed by the China Electrical Equipment Industry Association.
This part is under the jurisdiction of SAC/TC 422 National Technical Committee on Bare Wires of Standardization Administration of China.
The previous editions of this part are as follows:
——GB/T 5584.4-1985 and GB/T 5584.4-2009.
Rectangular copper or aluminium and its alloy wires for electrical purposes—
Part 4: Strip copper conductor
1 Scope
This part of GB/T 5584 specifies the technical requirements, test and inspection rules and delivery requirements of strip copper conductor for electrical purposes.
It is applicable to strip copper conductor for electrical purposes.
