1 Scope
This Standard defines terms specifying tolerances for boundary dimensions, geometrical accuracy, running accuracy and internal clearance for rolling bearings. In addition, it specifies general conditions under which these tolerances apply and gives symbols for a number of the concepts defined.
Measuring and inspection principles and methods for assessing compliance with many of the definitions in this Standard are given in GB/T 307.2-1995. GB/T 6930-2002 is a vocabulary of terms in the field of rolling bearings and, as such, is a valuable complement to this Standard.
