Lavatory for sanitary fittings
1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and labeling, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of lavatory for sanitary fittings (hereinafter referred to as lavatory).
This standard is applicable to installations in washrooms, toilets, public facilities, etc., as a lavatory for sanitary fittings of hand washing and face washing.
This standard is applicable to the occasions with special chemical treatment requirements.

5 Service conditions
The service conditions of the lavatory are as follows:
——ambient temperature: 0℃~50℃;
——ambient air does not contain corrosive gases.
6 Requirements
6.1 Materials
6.1.1 The materials used for lavatory shall meet the corresponding material standards.
6.1.2 The limit of radionuclide in lavatory materials shall meet the requirements of GB 6566.
6.1.3 The adhesives used for silencing gasket of stainless steel lavatory shall meet the requirements of HJ 2541.
6.1.4 The water-based coating for stainless steel lavatory which is applied to prevent moisture condensation on the back shall meet the requirements of HJ/T 201.
6.2 Appearance
6.2.1 The surface of the lavatory shall be smooth, and be free of obvious defects such as scratches, cracks, air bubbles and chips.
6.2.2 The surface coating of the lavatory shall be uniform in color and firm in binding, and shall be free of defects such as sagging, corrugation and base exposure.
6.2.3 The surface texture of the stainless steel lavatory shall be uniform and free of welding seam and other defects after polishing.
6.2.4 The appearance quality of tempered glass lavatory shall meet the requirements of Sub-clause 5.3 in GB15763.2-2005
6.3 Dimension and deviation
6.3.1 Dimension and deviation of lavatory shall meet those specified in Table 4.

6.3.2 The mounting hole and the mounting surface of water supply accessories for the lavatory and the drain dimensions shall meet the requirements of corresponding standards.
6.4 Service performance
6.4.1 Load resistance
Lavatory shall be free of crack, rupture or permanent deformation (the lavatory shall be deemed as rejected in case of any deformation at directly force bearing point) after being tested in accordance with Sub-clause 7.4.1.
6.4.2 Impact resistance (applicable to tempered glass lavatory)
The lavatory shall be free of crack after being tested in accordance with Sub-clause 7.4.2.
6.4.3 Drainage performance
All water (except the residual water caused by surface tension) of lavatory shall be drained after being tested in accordance with Sub-clause 7.4.3.
6.4.4 Cold and thermal stability (except stainless steel lavatory)
The lavatory shall be free of defects such as crack, etc. after being tested in accordance with Sub-clause 7.4.4.
