GB/T 24977-2024 General technical requirements for bathroom furniture
1 Scope
This document specifies the product classification, basic requirements, safety requirements, installation requirements, inspection rules, packaging, transportation, storage and use instructions for bathroom furniture, and describes the test methods for the relevant requirements.
This document is applicable to the quality control during the production, installation, inspection and sales of furniture used in toilets and bathrooms; for the furniture used in other similar places, it may serve as a reference.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 28202-2020 and GB/T 3324-2017 and the following apply.

bathroom furniture
cabinet racks, chairs and stools with storage and other functions used in a toilets or bathroom, which are used for supporting and/or facilitating lavatory, dressing, showers, toileting, and/or lamp heating
Note: The facilitating furniture includes lavatory, vanity mirror, mirror lamp, and the like. See Annex A for the examples of cabinet/rack bathroom furniture and equipment components. See Annex B for the main standards of common accessories of bathroom furniture.

transfer film composed of plastic film backing paper, decorative wood grain printing layer, surface protective layer, base color layer, mould release layer, hot melt adhesive layer, etc., or decorative layer formed by transferring the decorative wood grain printing layer on the transfer film to the surface of a component by a high-temperature silicone rubber roller
