1 General Provisions 1.0.1 In order to standardize and standardize documents engineering documents of instrumentation as well as meet the demands of construction projects at home and abroad, this Guide is prepared. 1.0.2 This Guide is applicable to the preparation before the design operation by instrumentation personal and the enquiry in design process, and it also my be taken as the standard for the checking of composition and details of engineering design documents. 1.0.3 Relevant standards are as follows: HG/T 20636.6 "Task for Engineering Design of Instrumentation" HG/T 20636.7 "Produce for engineering design of instrumentation" HG/T 20637.2 "Symbols and identifiers for engineering design of instrumentation" HG/T 20637.3 "Preparation of instrumentation engineering specification" HG/T 20637.4 "Preparation of requirements for instrumentation construction and erection" HG/T 20637.5 "Preparation of instrumentation requisition" HG/T 20637.6 "Preparation of instrumentation specification" HG/T 20637.7 "Materials take-off of instrumentation" HG/T 20637.8 "Numbering of auxiliary equipment, cables and tubes" HG/T 20638 "Specification for Details of Engineering Design of Instrumentation" HG/T 20639.1 "Typical sheets for engineering design of instrumentation" HG/T 20639.2 "Typical design information sheets for engineering design of instrumentation" HG 20505 "Functional identification and symbols for process measuring and controlling instrumentation" HG/T 20573 "Code for Distributed Control System Engineering Design" During the implementation of this Guide, the provisions in the current relevant standards of the nation shall be complied with. 2 Composition of Design Documents 2.1 General 2.1.1 Engineering documents of instrumentation include equipment purchasing, construction and installation, configuration of DCS software as well as the required documents in instrument commission which are the design documents required in the whole project construction process. 2.1.2 In engineering design, corresponding addition or deletion may be made on the aspects of kinds and details of documents according to the demand of project abstract. 2.1.3 With view to convenience for computer operation and documentation management, codes are given for all kinds of documents according to document type and service. Code formats are as follows:
