FZ/T 62011 Indoor Ornamental Textiles is divided into four parts:
——Part 1: Curtain;
——Part 2: Dinning Table Textiles;
——Part 3: Upholstery;
——Part 4: Interior Decoratives.
This part is the third part of FZ/T 62011.
This part is developed in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This part replaces FZ/T 62011.3-2008 Indoor Ornamental Textiles - Part 3: Upholstery.
The following main changes have been made with respect to FZ/T 62011.3-2008 (the previous edition):
——The assessment indexes for first-grade products on breaking strength are improved (see 4.2; 4.2 in Edition 2008);
——The assessment requirements for first-grade products and qualified products on tearing strength are improved (see 4.2; 4.2 in Edition 2008);
——Assessment requirements on fuzzing and pilling and metal residues in inherent quality are added (see 4.2);
——Assessment requirements on deviation rate of dimension, skewness, bow and dyeing defect in appearance quality are added;
——Shape quality requirements in appearance quality are deleted (see 4.3; 4.3 in Edition 2008);
——Assessment requirements for embroidery quality in process quality are added (see 4.3);
——Assessment requirements for first-grade products and qualified products on color spot and stain are improved (see 4.3).
This part was proposed by China National Textile and Apparel Council.
This part is under the jurisdiction of National Technical Committee 302 on Household Textiles of Standardization Administration of China (SAC/TC 302).

1 Scope
This part of FZ/T 62011 specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, sampling, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of indoor ornamental textiles - upholstery.
This part is applicable to upholstery mainly made of textile and woven.

3 Terms and Definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
indoor ornamental textiles
textile products mainly made of textile material, used for indoors with indoor decoration and/or utility function and mainly divided into curtain, dinning table textiles, upholstery and interior decoratives
3.2
upholstery
textile products mainly made of textile material, used for furniture and detachable furniture, e.g. fabric sofa, furniture coverage, slip cover etc.
4 Requirements
4.1 Quality of upholstery products includes inherent quality and appearance quality, while quality grade can be classified into high-grade products, first-grade products and qualified products.
4.2 Inherent quality includes breaking strength, tearing strength, yarn slippage, fuzzing and pilling, dimensional stability to washing, dimensional stability to dry cleaning, color fastness and fiber content, see Table 1 for the inherent quality requirements.

8 Fiber content/% In accordance with the requirements of GB/T 29862
a Yarn slippage, fuzzing and pilling are applicable to fabric sofa, slipcover and chair cover products;
b Dimensional stability to washing and color fastness to soaping are applicable to washable products;
c Dimensional stability to dry cleaning and color fastness to dry cleaning are applicable to dry-cleaning products.
Soaping fastness, dry cleaning fastness and color fastness to rubbing are not assessed for raw white and bleaching products.
4.3 The appearance quality of products includes color difference, appearance defects, process requirements and sewing quality, see Table 2 for the their requirements.

Embroidery quality Stitches are flat and smooth, embroidery surface is flat; the pattern variation is natural and embroidery contour is uniform; stitches are even, thin and properly fine; needle transmission is fluent, color mix is natural and is full of stereoscopic impression; the embroidery surface is clean without stain. The applique embroidery shall be smooth and flat and free from obvious missed embroidery, the sprayed embroidery shall be accurate and its transition shall be natural and free from overlapping and misplacement

4.4 Products shall meet the requirements of GB 18401.
4.5 Products shall be free from metal residues which are harmful to human body such as suture needle and broken needle.
4.6 Appropriate accessories like thread, button and zipper shall be selected and their quality shall meet the requirements of relevant standards.
