This standard is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard is the revision of CJ/T 157-2002 Hotplate of Lacquered Toughened Glass for Gas Appliance, and the following technical deviations have been made with respect to the CJ/T 1572002:
— Requirements and test methods for endurability on cold shock are added (see 5.9 and 6.11);
— Inspection of sharp edge is added (see 6.4);
— Requirements for thickness deviation are added (see 5.3.1);
— Requirements and test methods for fragment state are modified (see 5.8, 6.10; 5.9 and 6.10 of Edition 2002);
— Requirements and test methods for patience difference in temperature are deleted (see 5.6 and 6.9 of Edition 2002);
This standard was proposed by the Research Institute of Standards and Norms (RISN) of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the People's Republic of China.
This standard is under the jurisdiction of the Technical Committee on Gas Standardization of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the People's Republic of China.

For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
toughened glass
glass after a heat treatment process. It is characterized by the formation of a compressive stress layer on the surface of the glass, the mechanical strength and heat-resistant impact strength are improved, and has a special fragment state
[GB 15763.2-2005, Definition 3.1]
3.2
hotplate of lacquered toughened glass
flat tempered glass whose inner surface has been coated and used as a panel for a domestic gas appliances
3.3
endurability on gravity strike
ability to withstand a gravity strike
3.4
endurability on heat shock
ability to withstand high temperature sudden cooling under normal temperature conditions
3.5
endurability on cold shock
ability to withstand local temperature drops under high temperature conditions
3.6
spot faults
general term for defects like gas bubble, inclusion and spot
[GB 11614-2009, Definition 3.2]
4 Classification and Model Designation
4.1 Classification
4.1.1 According to the coating treatment method of glass faceplate, it can be divided into (indicated by the pinyin letter code): toughened coated glass faceplate (GD), toughened silk-screen printed glass faceplate (GS) and toughened lacquered (glazed) glass faceplate (GP).
4.1.2 According to the thickness of glass faceplate, it can be divided into: 4 mm, 5 mm, 6 mm, 8 mm, 10 mm and 12 mm.
4.2 Model
4.2.1 Model designation
Design serial number (in English letters)
Thickness of glass faceplate (in Arabic numerals)
Coating treatment method of glass faceplate
Toughened glass (G)
4.2.2 Example
Toughened glass with design serial number A, the thickness is 8 mm, and the surface is coated with film treatment, designated as GD8-A.
5 Requirements
5.1 General
5.1.1 The original plate glass used for glass faceplate shall meet the requirements of GB 11614-2009, and the appearance quality shall be first class or superior.
5.1.2 Glass faceplate shall be protected from explosion.
5.2 Appearance
5.2.1 The surface of the glass faceplate shall be smooth and flat, and the surface color and lustre shall be uniform without obvious color difference, obvious spot faults, scratches, cracks, bursts, stains, bulges and pinholes.
5.2.2 The silk-screen printing pattern shall be clear with no broken lines, burrs and zigzags.
5.2.3 The edges around the glass faceplate and the openings shall be smooth and free from sharp edges.
5.2.4 For the glass faceplate with explosion-proof layer, the explosion-proof layer shall be adhered to the glass faceplate without visible bulging or falling off.
