YS/T 429 Aluminum curtain wall panel - Mill finish sheet and strip consists of two parts:
——Part 1: Mill finish sheet and strip;
——Part 2: Aluminum panel with organic polymer coating.
This part is Part 1 of YS/T 429.
This part is developed in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces YS/T 429.1-2000 Aluminum curtain wall panel - Mill finish sheet and strip, and the following main technical changes have been made with respect to YS/T 429.1-2000:
——The strip for aluminum curtain wall has been added;
——The designations - 1050A, 3A21 and 8011A - have been added;
——The types - 3003H22, 3A21H22, 5005H22, 5052H22 and 5052H32 - have been added;
——The requirement for side curvature has been added;
——The ranges of raw sheet thickness, width and length have been modified;
——The tolerances on product thickness, length and diagonal tolerance of sheet have been modified;
——The performance indicators of 1050, 1060, 1100, 3003, 3A21 and 5005 alloys in H14 and H24 state have been modified;
——The requirements for appearance have been modified;

Aluminum curtain wall panel - Part 1: Mill finish sheet and strip
1 Scope
This part of YS/T 429 specifies the requirements, test procedures, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation, storage and order (or contract) contents of the aluminum and aluminum alloy sheets and strips used for curtain wall.
This part is applicable to aluminum and aluminum alloy sheets and strips used for curtain wall.

3 Requirements
3.1 Product classification
3.1.1 Designation, state and specification
The designation, state and specification of the product shall comply with those specified in Table 1. Other designations, states and specifications required by the purchaser shall be determined by the supplier and the purchaser through negotiation and be indicated in the order (or contract).

3.1.2 Marking example
The product shall be marked in the order of product name, serial number of this Part, alloy designation, supply state and specification. Marking examples are given below:
Example 1: A 2.00 mm×1,200 mm×2,000 mm (thickness × width × length) sheet in the state of H24 state with designation of 3003 shall be marked as follows: Sheet YS/T 429.1-3003H24-2.0×1200×2000
Example 2: A 1.50 mm×1,050 mm (thickness × width) strip in the state of O with a designation of 3003 shall be marked as follows: Strip YS/T 429.1-30030-1.5×1050
