YS/T 429 Aluminum curtain wall panel consists of two parts:
——Part 1: Mill finish sheet and strip;
——Part 2: Aluminum panel with organic polymer coating.
This part is Part 2 of YS/T 429.
This part is developed in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This part replaces YS/T 429.2-2000 Aluminum curtain wall panel - Aluminum panel with PVDF coating
The following main technical changes have been made with respect to YS/T 429.2-2000:
——Alloy designation 8011A, Layer-4 PVDF coating and powder coating have been added;
——The pretreatment requirements before coating have been modified;
——The performance requirements and test procedures for hydrochloric acid resistance and mortar resistance of fluorocarbon paint coating products have been added;
——The coating thickness, nitric acid resistance, resistance to solvent, salt spray corrosion resistance and humidity resistance of fluorocarbon paint coating products have been modified;
——The test procedures of impact resistance, nitric acid resistance, resistance to solvent, resistance to detergent and salt spray corrosion resistance of fluorocarbon paint coating products have been modified;
——The sampling regulations for aluminum panels have been modified.
In this part, the related contents of aluminum panel with organic polymer coating are compiled by the redrafting method with reference to AAMA 2604:2005 Voluntary Specification, Performance Requirements and Test Procedures for High Performance Organic Coatings on Aluminum Extrusions and Panels and AAMA 2605:2005 Voluntary Specification, Performance Requirements and Test Procedures for High Superior Performance Organic Coatings on Aluminum Extrusions and Panels. This part is not equivalent to AAMA 2604:2005 and AAMA 2605:2005.
This part is under the jurisdiction of National Technical Committee on Nonferrous Metals of Standardization Administration of China (SAC/TC 243).
The previous edition of this part is as follows:
——YS/T 429.2-2000.
Aluminum curtain wall panel - Part 2: Aluminum panel with organic polymer coating
1 Scope
This part specifies the requirements, test procedures, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage, as well as the quality certificate and order (or contract) contents of the aluminum panel with organic polymer coating for the curtain wall.
This part is applicable to the aluminum and aluminum alloy single-layer formed panel for curtain walls (hereinafter referred to as “the aluminum panel”) with fluorocarbon paint (polyvinylidene fluoride) or powder (thermosetting organic polymer) as surface coating.
