1 Scope
This standard specifies the communication protocol between off-board charger monitoring unit (hereinafter referred to as charger) and battery management system (hereinafter referred to as BMS) of electric Vehicle..
This standard is applicable to off-board charger used for electric vehicle adopting conduction charging mode.

3 Terminologies and Definitions
Terminologies and definitions specified in SAE J1939 and ISO 11898 as well as the following ones apply. For the purpose of convenience, terminologies and definitions in SAE J1939 are listed below.

Frame
A series of data bits forming a complete message.
3.2
CAN data frame
Orderd bit field forming transmitting data and necessary for CAN protocol; begin with start of frame (SOF) and end with end of frame (EOF).

Message
One or more "CAN data frame" with the same parameter group number.
