This part replaces GB/T 3903.7-2005 Footwear - Ageing conditioning, and the following main technical changes have been made with respect to GB/T 3903.7-2005:
——The normative references are modified (see Clause 2, Clause 2 of Edition 2005);
——The terms and definitions are modified (see Clause 3, Clause 3 of Edition 2005);
——The test report is modified (see Clause 8, Clause 8 of Edition 2005);
——The word "heat ageing" is changed to "dry heat ageing" in the text; and the word "humidified ageing" is changed to "damp-heat ageing".
This part, by means of translation, is identical to ISO 20870: 2017 Footwear - Ageing conditioning.
The Chinese documents identical to the normative international documents given in this part are as follows:
——GB/T 22049-2019 Footwear - Standard atmospheres for conditioning and testing of footwear and components for footwear (ISO 18454: 2018, IDT);
——GB/T 22050-2008 Footwear - Sampling location, preparation and duration of conditioning of samples and test pieces (ISO 17709: 2004, IDT).
The following editorial changes have been made in this part:

Footwear - Test methods for whole shoe - Ageing conditioning
1 Scope
This part of GB/T 3903 specifies test methods which are intended to imitate the effects of naturally occurring reactions. The physical properties of interest are measured before and after the application of the ageing conditioning. The effect of the ageing conditioning on any of the physical properties of the material may be determined.

4 Test apparatus and materials
4.1 Dry heat ageing test
4.1.1 Oven, with forced circulation system, capable of maintaining the temperature within (70 ± 2)℃.
4.2 Damp heat ageing test
4.2.1 Ageing apparatus, of such a size that the total volume of test pieces does not exceed 10% of the free air space, and such that the test pieces are free to stretch, and exposed to the ageing atmosphere on all sides and not exposed to light.
4.2.2 Glass vessel, with a suitable plug for maintaining the test pieces at a relative humidity of 100%, and a water-bath or oven for heating the vessel, capable of maintaining the temperature at (70±2)℃.
5 Sampling and conditioning
The number, size and shape of the test pieces shall be determined according to the nature of the test, and sampling shall be done in accordance with ISO 17709 before the ageing test, with the dimensions defined in the particular test.
6 Test procedure
After conditioning, the physical properties shall be determined, and the test pieces shall be brought rapidly to the ageing condition. The duration of dry heat ageing and of damp heat ageing is (168±2) h.
At the end of the ageing treatment, condition for 24 h according to ISO 18454 before testing.

1 范围
GB/T 3903的本部分规定了模拟自然发生反应效果的试验方法。老化处理前后分别测定试样的物理性能。老化处理对试样任何物理性能的影响都可能会测定出来。

4试验设备和材料
4.1干热老化试验
4.1.1 烘箱,有强制循环系统,能将温度保持在(70±2)℃范围内。
4.2湿热老化试验
4.2.1 老化试验设备,其尺寸应保证试样的总体积不超过自由空气空间的10%。试样完全自由伸张,试样所有部分均处于老化空气中,避光放置。
4.2.2玻璃容器,有合适塞子的玻璃容器放置试样,能使待测试样在相对湿度为100%的空气中,用水浴锅或者烘箱来加热此玻璃容器,保持其温度在(70±2)℃。
5取样和环境调节
试样数量、尺寸和形状的选取根据试验的性质来决定,在老化试验前按ISO 17709规定的特定试验的试样尺寸进行取样。
6试验步骤
在环境调节后进行物理性能的测定,然后试样应立即放置到老化环境中。干热老化过程和湿热老化过程的时间均为(168±2)h。
老化处理后、试验前按ISO 18454对试样进行24 h的调节。
7试验结果表达
试样性能的变化率X以百分数(%)表示,按式(1)计算:

8试验报告
试验报告应包括以下内容:
a)本部分编号;
b)详细描述试样性质;
c) 本试验方法的参考;
d)试验结果,按第7章表示;
e) 说明是干热老化试验还是湿热老化试验;
f) 在老化前后测定其单独性能,在适当的情况下,用百分比表示性能的变化;
g)试验日期;
h)试验过程中观察到的标准环境情况。
