3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 36547-2018 and the following apply.
3.1
electrochemical energy storage system
system with the electrochemical battery as a carrier for energy storage, capable of recyclable power storage and discharge via power conversion system
Note: It generally includes battery system, power conversion system and related auxiliary facilities. For electrochemical energy storage systems connected to a grid with voltage class of 10(6) kV and above, they usually include collecting lines, step-up transformers, etc.
3.2
battery management system
device that monitors parameters such as voltage, current and temperature of a battery, and performs management and control over the state of the battery
3.4
unit battery system
system of such batteries that can be charged and discharged independently and their supporting equipment as are corresponding to a single power conversion system
4 Environmental conditions
The electrochemical energy storage system shall be able to be used normally under the following conditions:
a) environment temperature: 0℃~40℃;
b) relative humidity of air: ≤ 90%;
c) altitude: ≤ 2,000m; when the altitude is larger than 2,000m, the equipment suitable for high altitude areas shall be selected.
5 General
5.1 Electrochemical energy storage system, when applied to the power system, should have but be not limited to smooth power generation and power output, tracking planned power generation, system frequency regulation, reducing electricity consumption during peak periods and increasing electricity consumption during valley periods, emergency power support and other application functions.
5.2 Electrochemical energy storage equipment shall be of economic, environmentally friendly, efficient, safe, reliable and less maintenance type under the condition of meeting the application function requirements.
