This standard is developed in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard supersedes "Stainless Steel Plate, Sheet and Strip for Pressure Equipments " (GB/T, 24511-2009 ); Compared with GB/T, 24511 - 2009 , the main technical changes in this standard are as follows:
- adjust and supply Normative References
- add 16 designations and relevant technical requirements. In them, austenitic stainless steel has 11 designations; Duplex austenitic-ferritic stainless steel has 5 designations. In terms of composition, compared with performance, GB/ 4237, GB/ 3280, GB/ 4238 have higher requirements.
-the thickness tolerance requirements of hot-rolled steel sheet and strip are made stricter and personalized thickness tolerance requirements are supplemented;
-the lower limit value of six common austenitic stainless steel was raised
-in manufacturing method, it defines that hot rolling and heat resistant steel in thickness of 14.0 (mm) ~ 25.0 (mm) shall be delivered in accordance with the requirements of single-rolled steel plate
- steel plate can be produced by using static ingot were defined and the definition of compression volume ratio was made
-the calculation methods for PREN were added;
-the compared test of duplex stainless steel is listed in "special requirement "
-the normative references of grain boundary corrosion test are supplemented;
-Partial S/s S/s high temperature service performance was added in the form of "Informative Appendix"
This standard was proposed by China Iron and Steel Industry Association.
This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee on Iron and Steel of Standardization Administration of China (SAC/TC 183).
The previous editions of this standard replaced are as follows:
-GB/T24511-2009.
