1 Scope
This document specifies the types, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, warning signs, product information, packaging, transportation and storage, environmental protection, safety etc. of low-voltage doubly-fed induction generators for grid-connected wind turbines with the rated voltage of 1,140V and below.
This document is applicable to low-voltage doubly-fed induction generator for grid-connected wind turbines with the rated voltage of 1,140V and below (hereinafter referred to as "generator").

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 2900.25 as well as the following apply.

doubly-fed induction generator
a kind of variable speed constant frequency generator, in which the stator is directly connected to the power grid and the rotor is connected to the power grid through the converter, which is capable of exchanging energy
3.2
rotation speed
specified speed where the generator reaches the rated power output
3.3
operating speed range
range from the minimum operating speed to the maximum operating speed of the generator connected to the grid (nmim to nmax)
3.4
rated condition
condition with rated power, rated voltage, rated frequency, rotation speed and rated power factor
