1 Subject Content and Application Scope
This standard specifies the size, shape, weight, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, package, transportation, storage, marks and quality certificates of steel wires for melt welding.
This standard is mainly applicable to cold drawn wires used for electric arc welding, unionmelt welding, semiautomatic welding, electroslag welding and gas welding.
