Reversible Garments
1 Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of reversible garments.
This standard is applicable to reversible garments produced with textile fabrics as raw materials.
This standard is not applicable to garments for infants aged 36 months and below.

3 Requirements
3.1 Instructions for use
Instructions for use of finished products shall comply with GB/T 5296.4 and those for children's products shall comply with GB/T 5296.4 and GB 31701. The fiber content of fabrics on both sides may be identified according to "Side A" and "Side B" respectively; if the fiber contents of the fabrics on both sides are identical, they may be labeled in a combined way.
3.2 Size specifications
3.2.1 Size designations shall be in accordance with those specified in GB/T 1335 and GB/T 6411.
3.2.2 The specifications of main parts of finished products shall be designed independently in accordance with the relevant requirements of GB/T 1335 and GB/T 6411.
3.3 Raw materials
3.3.1 Fabric
Select fabric meeting the quality requirements of this standard in accordance with relevant textile fabric standard, and the dimensional change rate of fabrics on both sides shall be fit with each other.
3.3.2 Accessory materials
3.3.2.1 Filler
The quality of filler shall comply with relevant laws and regulations of the nation as well as mandatory standards, of which the quality of down filler shall also meet the requirements of GB/T 14272.
3.3.2.2 Interlining
The interlining suitable to the performance of the applied fabric shall be adopted, and their quality shall be in accordance with those specified in this standard.
3.3.2.3 Stitch thread
Stitch thread (except for special design) suitable to the performance of applied fabrics and accessory materials shall be adopted; shrinkage of the embroidery thread shall be fit with fabric.
3.3.2.4 Button, zipper and other accessories
The surfaces of button, ornamental button, zipper and other accessories shall be smooth and free from burr, damage, defects and accessible sharp tip or edge. Zippers shall be good in meshing and operate smoothly. Children's clothing shall also meet the relevant requirements of GB 31701.
Note: accessible sharp edge or tip refers to the sharp tip and edge on finished product that may hurt human skin under normal wearing.
3.4 Skewness of yarn as well as strip and plaid
3.4.1 Woven fabric: the permissible skewness shall not be greater than 3% for yarn-dyed and printed strip and grid materials (except for special design) as well as for back and sleeve.
3.4.2 Knitted fabric: the straying end of horizontal stripe shall not be greater than 4%.
3.5 Strip and plaid matching
3.5.1 Except for special design, fabric with 1.0cm visible strip and plaid or above is in accordance with those specified in Table 1.

Collar point and lapel Strips shall be symmetrical, with mutual deviation no larger than 0.3 For shadow strips and plaids, visible strips and plaids shall prevail.
Sleeve Left and right of the sleeve shall be straight, strips and plaids shall be symmetrical, and the mutual deviation relative to the sleeve top shall not be larger than 1.0 —
Center back seam Strips shall match each other, and plaids shall match each other horizontally, with mutual deviation no larger than 0.3. If the sizes of plaids are different, the upper back shall prevail.
Side seam Plaids shall match each other horizontally,, with mutual deviation at the part 10.0 below the armhole no larger than 0.4 —
Outseam Carry out matching horizontally below the knee line, with mutual deviation no larger than 0.5 Visible strip and plaid shall prevail.
Crease line Strips shall be straight, with permissive skewness no larger than 0.8 —
3.5.2 The velvet (down), checkerboard fabric and the whole body shall be in the same direction (except for special design).
3.5.3 Fabric with special pattern shall, based on the main pattern, be in the same direction (except in special design).
3.6 Color difference
3.6.1 Color difference at each part shall not be inferior to Grade 4 and that at top collar and front shall not be inferior to Grade 4-5.
3.6.2 Color difference caused by multilayer fabric or adhesive interlining shall not be inferior to Grade 3-4.
3.6.3 Color difference between tops and bottoms of a homochromatic suit shall not be inferior to Grade 4.
3.7 Appearance defect spot
See Figure 1 for the division of each part of the finished product. The permissibility of defect spot at each part of the finished product shall comply with Table 2.
