3 Products Classification
The siliceous refractory mortars are divided into four classes (seven grades in total) according to the characteristics of furnace and the physical and chemical parameters of slurry.
3.1 The siliceous refractory mortars for hot blast stove: RGN-94.
3.2 Siliceous refractory mortars for coke oven: JGN-92 and JGN-85.
3.3 Siliceous refractory mortars for glass furnace: BGN-96 and BGN-94.
3.4 Siliceous slurry insulation: GGN-94 and GGN-92.

5 Test Methods
5.1 The inspection of refractoriness shall meet the provisions of GB 7316.
5.2 For the inspection of cold rupture bonding strength, the slurry consistency is required to be 340~380; the specimen number after burning is 6; after insulation, the cooling rate of specimen shall not exceed 1℃ per minute; Others shall meet the provisions of GB 5024.3.
5.3 The inspection of setting time shall meet the provisions of GB 5024.2.
5.4 The grading analysis shall meet the provisions of GB 7318.
5.5 The chemical analysis shall meet the provisions of GB 6901.
5.6 The inspection of refractoriness under load shall meet the provisions of YB 4024.
6 Inspection Rules
6.1 The products in each inspection batch shall be inspected for all the index item in standard. If the products amount is not sufficient to compose a inspection lot, the products are also inspected as a inspection batch.
6.2 Batching rules
6.1.1 The products produced continuously at normal production state and with the same grade is in the same production lot. If the raw material or technology changed, the products shall be classified to another batch.
6.2.2 For the products at the same batch, every 50t is a inspection lot; if the products are less than 50t, they may also be one inspection lot.
6.3 Sampling rules
Take 10 bags (buckets) of products from each inspection lot randomly, insert the sampler probe 1/3 depth into the stitch closure of each bag, reverse 180° and take the sample out quickly. The sample taken out from each bag shall not be less than 500g. Mix the sample well and cutting them down to 5kg for specimen by quarter dividing method.
6.4 Criterion rules
6.4.1 If there is one item index of the inspection results is not conform to the standard index, take 20 bags randomly, prepare double quantity of specimens and re-inspect the disqualified item according to the provisions of Article 6.3.2.
7 Marks, Packing, Transport, Storage and Quality Certificate
7.1 Marks
7.1.1 Packaging bag (bucket) shall be indicated with product name, grade, net weight, keeping period, production date, damp proof symbol and manufacturer name.
7.1.2 The packaging bags (bucket) of BGN-96, RGN-94 and JGN-92 slurry are adopted with blue marks. The packaging bags (bucket) of BGN-94, JGN-85, GGN-94 and GGN-92 slurry are adopted with red marks.
7.2 The packaging bag (bucket) must be damp proof. The net weight of each bag (bucket) is 40±1 kg. The packed weight may be changed upon the agreement by both parties.
7.3 The vehicle shall be clean and equipped with damp proof and rainproof facilities.
7.4 It shall be protected against damp during the storage and sundries are strictly forbidden.
7.5 Each batch of products shall be accompanied by the quality certificate issued by technical supervision department before dispatching. The quality certificate shall state clearly in write the supplier name or emblem mark, purchaser name, product name, grade, standard number, batch number, inspection result of physical and chemical indexes, production date and delivery date.
