This standard is applicable to FM series fan mill and prepared by reference to relevant materials of EVT Company of the Federal Germany.
FM series fan mills are the pulverizing equipment for direct-firing pulverizing system of coal-fired boiler and are applicable to grinding lignite with the total moisture no larger than 40% and ash content no larger than 40% as well as other coals with equivalent coal quality characteristics.
1 Types and Basic Parameters
1.1 Model naming
1.2 Type
Based on the requirements of coal fineness, the combination type of fan mill is divided into the following three kinds according to different separators equipped:
a. Fan mill equipped with box type separator (see Figure 1).
b. Fan mill equipped with double-channel inertial separator (see Figure 2).
c. Fan mill equipped with Raymond type centrifugal separator (see Figure 3).

②Values in the column of rated output refer to the rated outputs of machine which grinds coals with the total moisture of 12%, ash content of dry basis less than 5%, Hardgrove grindability index of 60 and coal fineness R90 of 25% under design ventilation state.
2 Technical Requirements
2.1 Basic requirements
2.1.1 The product shall meet the requirements of this standard and be manufactured according to drawings and technical documents approved through established procedures.
2.1.2 The maximum output of the product shall reach 1.1 times the rated output.
2.1.3 Under continuous operation conditions, the temperature of main bearing and other bearings in the bearing box shall not be higher than 75℃ and 80℃ respectively.
2.1.4 Under normal operation, the noise value shall not exceed 85dB(A).
2.2 Operating conditions
2.2.1 The maximum particle size of fire coal entering the mill shall be in accordance with those specified in Table 2.

2.2.3 The relative humidity of surrounding environment shall be not greater than 75%.
2.3 Requirements for main components and parts
2.3.1 The carbon steel castings shall meet those specified in GB 5676-85 Cast Carbon Steels for General Engineering Purposes.
2.3.2 The high manganese steel casting shall meet those specified in GB 5680-85 Technical Specification for High Manganese Steel Casting.
2.3.3 The plates and profiles used for steel structural members shall be in accordance with corresponding national standards and ministerial standards.
2.3.4 The weld joints of steel structural members, which may influence sealing of equipment, shall be subjected to leakage inspection and shall be free from leakage.
2.3.5 The front plate, rear plate and articulated beam parts of pulverizing wheel component shall be subjected to defect detection inspection after rough machining. The defect detection requirements shal be indicated in the drawing and they shall be free from defects which influence the strength or usage.
2.3.6 The taper tolerance between taper hole of rear plate parts on pulverizing wheel with taper section of matched main shaft parts shall be in accordance with the accuracy Grade 5 specified in JB 1-59 taper and angle tolerance.
2.3.7 Before and after installation of beater plate, the pulverizing wheels shall be subjected to static balancing test. The allowable unbalanced moment shall be indicated in the drawing.
2.3.8 The quick-wear parts shall be provided with interchangeability and be easy to change.
2.3.9 The bearing box shall be subjected to oil penetration test and shall be free from oil leakage and penetration.
2.3.10 The assembled components and parts must be qualified products after inspection, purchased parts and standard parts shall be provided with quality certificate.
2.4 Installation requirements
2.4.1 After installation, the parallelism between axis of main shaft with horizontal plane shall be 0.2‰ of the axial length.
2.4.2 The coaxiality of main shaft and two half-couplings between main motor shafts shall be in accordance with those specified in Table 3.
2.4.3 The pipeline for bearing cooling and lubricating system shall be free from oil leakage.

3 Inspection Rules
3.1 Acceptance of components and parts manufacturing
Each product shall be able to leave the factory after passing inspection of quality department of manufacturer, and shall be accompanied with product quality qualification technical documents.
3.2 Trial assembling and trial run
Before leaving the factory, each product shall be subjected to complete machine trial assembling and no-load trial run and shall meet the following requirements:
3.2.1 The opening/closing of actuator shall be free from block and shall be well sealed after closure.
3.2.2 The no-load trial run shall last more than 8h.
