QC/T 948-2013 Roof load carriers for road vehicles
1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, category code requirements, test methods, inspection rules, markings, instructions, packaging, transportation, and storage of roof load carriers for road vehicles.
This standard is applicable to load carriers installed on the exterior of Type M1 and Type G road vehicles, hereinafter referred to as "roof load carriers".

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.

roof load carrier
device for loading objects on the outer roof of a car

roof rack
specific purpose roof device having its own fixation to the vehicle designed to carry a load on the roof of a vehicle
3.3
roof bar
supporting bar with connecting devices which enables a load to be carried on the roof of a vehicle
3.4
bicycle carrier
device intended for carrying bicycle(s) on roof bars
3.5
bicycle-wheel carrier
device intended for carrying bicycle wheel(s) on roof bars, roof decks or roof racks
3.6
ski and/or snow-board carrier
device intended for carrying ski(s), snow-board(s) and/or sticks on roof bars, roof decks or roof racks
3.7
sailboard and/or surfboard carrier
any device intended for carrying sailboard(s) with or without mast and boom and/or surfboard(s) on roof bars, roof decks or roof racks
3.8
sailboard mast carrier
device intended for carrying sailboard mast(s) on roof bars, roof decks or roof racks
3.9
roof container
containers intended for the transport of different loads such as suit-cases, bags, skis, etc. on roof bars, roof decks or roof racks, as illustrated in Figure 1

device intended for carrying canoe(s) and/or kayak on roof bars, roof decks or roof racks

roof deck (basket)
basket device or platform intended for carrying different loads such as suit-cases, bags, skis and/or roof deck, as illustrated in Figure 2

图3 固定物体装置 3.14 车辆顶部最大承载量 maximum vehicle roof load 最大承载质量,车辆制造商规定的在车辆顶部上的承载限量,代号为md,单位为kg。 3.15 车顶装载装置最大装载量 maximum roof carrier load 最大装载质量或装载数量,装置制造商规定的在装置上的装载限量,代号为mb,单位为kg或数量单位。 3.16 特定车顶装载装置质量 mass of the specific roof device set 设计成装载特定物体或通过自身与车辆进行固定的车顶装载装置中所有组件的质量之和,代号为me mdev,单位为kg。 3.17 车顶装载装置质量 mass of set of roof load carrier device 整套车顶装载装置的总质量,代号为me,单位为kg。 3.18 理论最大装载量 theoretical maximum load 为车辆顶部最大承载量md减去车顶装载装置质量me或减去特定车顶装载装置质量me mdev的差值,代号为mn,单位为kg。 3.19 实际最大装载量 actual maximum load 为理论最大装载量mn或车顶装载装置最大装载量mb中的最小者,代号为mx,单位为kg。 3.20 升力 lifting force 在测试中,用来模拟风力作用的垂直分量和/或由载物作用产生的垂直力,代号为Fa,单位为N。 3.21 向前纵向力 forward longitudinal force 在测试中,用来模拟由载物引起的在X平面(见图4)的水平向前力F1或水平向后力-F1,代号为F1,单位为N。 3.22 水平力 horizontal force 在测试中,用来模拟在转弯、刹车过程中由载物作用产生的20°水平方向上的力,代号为F1q,单位为N。 3.23 横向力 lateral force 在测试中,用来模拟由载物引起的在平行于Y平面(见图4)的水平分量的力,代号为F1at,单位为N。
