This standard specifies pattern, dimension, material, marking, technical requirement and service provisions of bolting for use with steel pipe flanges (PN designated).
This Standard is applicable to HG/T 20592 Bolting for use with Steel Pipe Flange, including hex bolt, double end studs (clamping type), full thread stud and nut.

3. Pattern, specification and dimension of bolting
3.0.1 Pattern of bolting
The pattern of bolting for steel pipe flange includes hexagon head bolt, double end studs (clamping type), full thread studs, hexagonal nut (style I) and hexagonal nut (style II).
3.0.2 Hexagon head bolt
1 The pattern and dimension of the hexagon head bolt shall comply with the requirements of GB/T 5782 (coarse thread) and GB/T 5785 (fine pitch thread), while the end of the hexagon head bolt shall be chamfered end, see Figure 3.0.2. The bolt end chamfer complies with the requirements of GB/T 2.
