1 General Provisions
1.0.1 This code is formulated with a view to guaranteeing the installation quality of high-voltage electric equipment, promoting the progress of installation technology and ensuring safe operation of equipments.
1.0.2 This code is applicable to the construction and quality acceptance of high-voltage electric equipment installation engineering such as hexafluoride sulfur circuit breaker (AC 3kV~750kV), gas-insulated metal-enclosed switchgear (GIS), hybrid GIS (HGIS), vacuum breaker, high-voltage switchgear panel, disconnecting switch, load switch high-voltage fuse, arrester and discharge gap of neutral point, dry-type reactor and wave trap coil, as well as capacitor.
1.0.3 Construction and acceptance of high-voltage electric equipment shall not only comply with the requirements stipulated in this code, but also those in the current relevant ones of the nation.
2 Terms
2.0.1 High-voltage breaker
High-voltage breaker, also called high-voltage switch, can not only shut off or close the no-load current and load current in the high-voltage circuit, but also shut off overload current and short-circuit current through the action of protective relay device when the system is out of service. It is possessed of complete arc extinguishing structures and sufficient breaking capacity.
2.0.2 High-voltage switchgear panel
High-voltage switchgear panel is a set of power distribution devices composed of different electric equipments such as high-voltage breaker, load switch, contactor, high-voltage fuse, disconnecting switch, earthing switch, transformer, station power transformer, controlling, measuring, protecting and regulating devices, internal connecting pieces, accessories, shell, as well as supporter, with air or composite insulating materials as the medium in it, used to receive and distribute the three-phase electric energy of power grid.
In this code, high-voltage switchgear panel refers to the "metal-enclosed switchgear and control device (except the external connection, the switchgear and control devices that are assembled and enclosed in the earthing metal shell)".
2.0.3 Metal-enclosed switchgear
Metal-enclosed switchgear is the switchgear that is totally enclosed by the earthing metal, except inlet and outlet lines.
2.0.4 Gas-insulated metal-enclosed switchgear
It is the metal-enclosed switchgear, all or some adopting gas (not the air in the atmospheric pressure) as the insulating medium, hereinafter referred to as GIS.
2.0.5 HGIS, hybrid GIS
HGIS is simplified GIS, excluding open-type busbar.
2.0.6 Flex section
Flex section is used to connect the connecting parts between two adjacent shells of GIS and HGIS, absorb the displacement caused by thermal flex and nonuniform sinkage, and with bellows-type elastic joint.
2.0.7 Transportation unit
Transportation unit is a part of GIS and HGIS that is not required to be disassembled and suitable for transportation.
2.0.8 Component
Component is the fundamental part that functions in the main circuit of GIS and HGIS or the circuit that connects with the main circuit, such as breaker, disconnecting switch, load switch, earthing switch, arrester, transformer, bushing and busbar.
2.0.9 Bushing
Bushing is the part for one or several conductors passing through separating structures such as walls or boxes, with insulating or supporting functions.
2.0.10 Disconnecting switch
In the disconnected positions, there are required insulation distance and obvious disconnecting mark among the contact terminals; in the closed positions, the switchgear can bear the current under the conditions of the normal circuit and the current under the abnormal conditions within the time specified.
