1 Scope
This standard sets the requirements, test methods and inspection rules for retro-reflectors for motor vehicles.
This standard applies to all types of retro-reflectors for motorcycles, motor vehicles and trailers.

For the purpose of this standard, the following term and definition applies.

Retro-reflection
When the direction of the reflected light is close to the direction of the incident light and the illumination angle changes within a large range, this specific performance can still be maintained.
