1 Scope
This standard specifies two bursting test methods for determination of the maximum force to rupture and bursting distension of fabrics. Method A is a steel ball bursting method; Method B is a diaphragm bursting method.
This standard is applicable to knitted fabric and elastic woven fabric.
This standard is applicable to straight seams and not applicable to seams with large curve.
