1 Application Scope
The Rules are applicable to electric welding machine products, such as the low-voltage-power supplied or mechanically driven welding equipment and the equipment and auxiliary machines used for similar processes, including small-sized AC arc welding machine, AC arc welding machine, DC arc welding machine, TIG arc welding machine, MIG/MAG arc welding machine, submerged arc welding machine, plasma arc welding machine, plasma arc cutting machine, resistance welding machine, anti-electric shock device for arc welding transformer, welding cable coupling device, wire feeder, TIG welding torch, MIG/MAG gun and electrode holder.
The adjustment of application scope caused by the changes of laws, regulations, relevant products standards, technologies, and industrial policies, shall be subject to the announcement issued by CNCA.
4 Certification Unit Division
Products of the same applicable standard, function and working principle (main loop and control mode), as well as the consistent structure (supply voltage, cooling mode and installation structure of the main component of product) may be regarded as an application unit; texture consistency of key materials shall also be considered for small-sized AC arc welding machine, AC arc welding machine, resistance welding machine, welding cable coupling device,
