1 Scope
1.1 Subject content
This standard specifies the marks and marking methods of satellite products (hereinafter referred to as products).
1.2 Application scope
This standard is applicable to satellite-mounting products and on-board products thereof, and serves as a reference for other spacecraft products.

3 Definitions
There is no provision in this clause.
4 General requirements
4.1 Products refer to the products specified in the "on-board product matching table" of satellite models, which are delivered according to the state of final assembly, and have a certificate of conformity (product certificate or product conformity certificate).
Products include complete satellite, on-board instruments, equipment and backup, cable network and electric connectors, structural parts, thermal controls, direct parts of final assembly and pipelines, etc. (pipelines are the equipment of their subsystems).
4.2 The contents of product mark shall be consistent with the "product certificate", "product log" or "product conformity certificate” in product code, stage mark, manufacturing batch and delivery serial number.
4.3 The parts of product marks shall be clearly visible when the products are disassembled and inspected.
4.4 Product marks shall be indicated in the corresponding drawings or documents, and the parts, contents and production methods of the marks shall be specified.
4.5 The product marks shall not produce superfluous objects on the satellite, and shall not cause pollution and mechanical damage to the product.
4.6 Types of product marks
The types of product marks include:
a. paint filling after mechanical engraving (or platemaking corrosion);
b. miniating by steel seal;
c. spraying;
d. silk-screen printing;
e. nameplate with adhesive tape (with pressure-sensitive adhesive on the back);
f. printing paper with transparent heat-shrinkable tubing;
g. metal nameplate.
4.7 Items of product marks
The main items of product marks include:
a. mark of complete satellite;
b. marks of on-board instruments and equipment;
c. marks of cable and electric connector;
d. marks of structural parts, thermal controls and direct parts of general assembly;
e. marks of process parts, substitutes and protective parts (including protective covers and plugs, etc.) for satellite mounting;
f. other marks (including quadrant line mark, marks of mounting direction and operation cover, marks of hazardous products, marks of on-board products, marks of purchased parts, etc.).
5 Detailed requirements
5.1 Product marks
5.1.1 Mark of complete satellite
The contents of mark of complete satellite include satellite code, development stage, manufacturing batch and serial number, development unit code and manufacturing year.
Since the satellite surface is constrained by the requirements of thermal control and optics, the form of the mark of complete satellite is not specified, and it is implemented according to special technical requirements.
Satellite code is implemented according to the requirements of GJB 1064A, 5.1. See Example 1.
Example 1:
Z01-1
DFH-1
CAST 69
It refers to the first satellite of flight model 01 for "DFH-1" satellite manufactured by China Academy of Space Technology in 1969.
5.1.2 Marks of on-board instruments and equipment
The contents of marks of on-board instruments and equipment include satellite code, development stage, manufacturing batch and serial number, development unit code and manufacturing date. See Figure 1 for the general form of marks.
