Safety requirements of small amusement device
1 Scope
This standard specifies the materials, safety requirements, test methods, marks, instructions for use, maintenance and protection as well as use management of small amusement device.
This standard is applicable to small amusement devices in public places for children aged 3 to 14 years old.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 20306 and GB/T 28622-2012 as well as the following apply.
3.1
small amusement device
device used for children amusement in public places, not belonging to large amusement device specified in Regulations on Safety Supervision of Special Equipment, e.g. slide, swing, rocking equipment, seesaw, climbing net, carousel and indoor soft amusement rides

4 Materials
4.1 General
4.1.1 The mechanical properties, corrosion resistance and aging resistance of metal materials shall meet the use performance requirements of the amusement device.
4.1.2 The wooden materials and their joints with metal parts shall be subjected to anti-corrosion treatment.
4.1.3 The physical and chemical properties of plastic parts for bearing shall meet the use performance requirements of the amusement device.
4.1.4 The mechanical properties of glass fiber reinforced plastic parts shall meet the use performance requirements of the amusement device.
4.1.5 The performance of other materials shall meet the use performance requirements of the amusement device.
4.2 Flammability
4.2.1 The surface materials shall not pose a combustion hazard in the environment where children stay, and their flammability shall meet the requirements of GB 6675.3.
4.2.2 Where the small amusement device contains hazardous substances or preparations specified by the State due to functional requirements, especially materials and devices used in chemical experiments, model modules, plastics or similar activities, it shall not contain substances that become flammable after losing non-combustible ingredients through volatilization.
4.2.3 The small amusement device shall not contain explosive substances or ingredients harmful to children or the third party.
4.2.4 The small amusement device shall not contain the following substances:
a) substances that will cause explosion due to chemical reaction or heating when mixed;
b) substances that will cause explosion when mixed with oxides;
c) substances containing volatile ingredients that are flammable in air and are prone to form flammable or explosive gas/air mixtures.
4.2.5 The flammability of soft materials shall be inspected in accordance with 6.3.1 and meet the requirements of GB 6675.3.
4.2.6 The flammability of plastic materials shall be inspected in accordance with 6.3.2, and its burning rate shall not be greater than 21.0mm/min.
4.2.7 The flammability of other hard materials shall be inspected according to 6.3.3, and the diameter of burned spot left on the material surface shall not be greater than 50mm.
4.3 Limit of harmful substances
The material in direct contact with the user shall be free of substances harmful to the human health. The limit of harmful substances shall meet the requirements of Table 1.
