1 General
1.1 Scope
GB/T 2951 specifies the test methods to be used for testing polymeric insulating and sheathing materials of electric and optical cables for power distribution and telecommunications, including cables used in ships and in offshore applications.
This part of GB/T 2951 gives the methods for loss of mass test and thermal stability test, which apply to PVC compounds.
