1 Scope
This part of JB/T 8734 specifies the service characteristics, types and specification, technical requirements and testing of insulated cables and wires for fixed wiring.
This part is applicable to copper-cored or aluminum-cored polyvinyl chloride insulated cables and wires for fixed wiring of power unit with the AC rated voltage U0/U up to and including 450/750V.

3 Service Characteristics
3.1 The rated voltages U0/U of cables and wires are 450/750V and 300/500V.
3.2 The long-term allowable operating temperature of all types of cables and wires shall not exceed 70℃.
