4.1.1 Onboard hydrogen system shall be manufactured according to product drawing and other technical documents approved by specified procedures, and shall be provided with certificate.
4.1.2 Onboard hydrogen system shall meet the requirements of GB/T 24549, installation of hydrogen system and its device shall be able to operate safely and reliably under normal application condition.
4.2 Environmental conditions
4.2.1 In the test process, atmospheric pressure shall not be less than 91 kPa, temperature shall be 5℃~35℃, relative humidity shall be less than 95%, and the proving ground shall be kept dry.
4.2.2 Measure wind speed 1.2m above the ground in the proving ground, the average wind speed shall be less than 3 m/s, and the gust speed shall be less than 5 m/s.
5 Test Equipment and Instrument
Test equipment and instrument shall be tested, maintained and calibrated according to the requirements of manufacturer. Accuracy for measurement of hydrogen leakage shall meet the requirements of Table 1.
Table 1 Requirements for Test Instrument
No. Parameters Requirements
1 Time Instrument precision is not less than 60 s
2 Distance Instrument precision is 1%
3 Pressure Accuracy is not inferior to Grade 1.5, measuring range is 1.5 ~ 3 times of the measured value.
4 Flow Accuracy is not inferior to Grade 1.5, measuring range is 1.5 ~ 3 times of the measured value.
6 Test Methods
6.1 General
6.1.1 Hydrogen storage vessel and pipeline
6.1.1.1 Inspect whether the installation position and direction of pipelines in the hydrogen system are kept away from heat source and places where it's possible for electrical appliances and storage battery to generate arc, inspect whether high pressure pipelines and components are grounded reliably.
6.1.1.2 Inspect whether hydrogen storage vessel and pipeline are installed in passenger compartment, luggage compartment or other places with poor ventilation; but if it's unavoidable, inspect whether isolation measures in the passenger compartment and luggage compartment have been taken.
6.1.1.3 When hydrogen storage vessel is installed firmly, apply forces 8 times of the weight of the hydrogen storage vessel filled with hydrogen of nominal working pressure along the three directions of X, Y and Z of the vehicle, measure the relative displacement of the vessel and fixed seat.
6.1.1.4 Inspect whether the metal parts supporting and fixing pipelines contact with the pipelines, except the condition that pipelines are welded with support and fasteners.
6.1.1.5 Inspect whether the rigid pipelines are arranged in order, whether they contact and rub with adjacent components. Inspect whether the pipelines are provided with measures to resist earthquake and eliminate the influence of thermal expansion; for curved pipelines, measure the curvature radius of their center line, and the distance of space of pipeline support points.
6.1.1.6 Measure the distance between the installation position of the attachments of the hydrogen storage vessel and the vehicle edge.
6.1.1.7 Inspect whether hydrogen storage vessel and pipelines are provided with suitable thermal insulation protection measures to avoid the influence of heat source. For hydrogen storage vessel and pipelines directly exposed in the sun, inspect whether they have necessary coverings.
6.1.2 Hydrogen leakage
6.1.2.1 Hydrogen leakage: fill in the hydrogen storage vessel in the test vehicle to 100% of working pressure, place it in a closed space, keep it still for 8 h as required, and measure penetrating rate of its hydrogen.
6.1.2.2 Inspect whether the closed or semi-closed space with hydrogen system is installed with hydrogen probe, inspect whether the detector can detect leakage concentration of hydrogen with normal mixture in real time, and transmit the signal to hydrogen leakage warning device; inspect whether the warning device can send out different warning signals according to hydrogen leakage concentration.
6.1.2.3 Inspect whether the hydrogen leakage warning device is installed at the parts which are easy for drivers to identify.
6.1.2.4 Inspect whether it can send out fault alarm signal to the driver timely at the faults of short circuit and open circuit of hydrogen probe.
